@@CKPHH If the dealer suspects damage due to a modified part, they can option to not warranty the damage. If they don't look, suspect or find a modified or aftermarket part, then the warranty is safe.

Can you attest to the longetivity of the life of the ski with this tune? I've got an older GTX 155 now for the family, but would like to get a second ski to play around on and these remind me of the 90s skis my friends and I had when we were younger. On the lookout for a trixx now, but I'm about 220 pounds 6'2" so I'm thinking it wouldnt hurt to have the extra power.

Thanks for the fast response. Question If I bury my ski underwater a lot coming off jumps, tail and nose 1st, is a cold air intake, which repositions the intakes forward, a really bad idea? Will I have trouble drowning my ski? one more, What's the quietest high flow exhaust for a trixx?

Na should be fine. People like the wetjet freeflow but keep the water box and guts in tact

I’m definitely getting this tuner for new spark coming out next year called spark X if it comes out going have 1630 engine 130hp stock with tune it go up to 170 hp

Looking to buy a 2020 or 2021 are they good to go ?

Is this a 3 up? Also, if you do a water 180 or 360 and water buries you a little and you accelerate out now with the new tune does it jump back up on the water better and take off? I rode a stock one the other day and its throttle response out of a hole was crap.

Idk about a 3 up I run a 2 up but I have a stage 3 with this tune and it’s out of the hole power is unbelievably better. Like a whole new machine

I’ve already got a 8600 tune on mine, but this one seems better, I run the 12/14, I actually like it better. Can I get this tune flashed and try it? Hit me up

finally pulled the trigger and I am also skeptical on the cold air stuff. So thinking of also doing the 8600 tune and prop, or keeping it stock for now but not sure if there will be issues with cavitation on a stock prop

Does it make 8600 rpm when you run it in the water or is that only the rev limiter?

i ran this tune with 12/15 impeller gutted stock water box riva straight thru exhaust ribbon delete and air intake.after a hour of wot runs my water box got so hot it cracked wide open.tune is too hot for 91 oct pump gas

Probably not worth it unless required. Adding more octane could cause detonation

I heard you say you did not have any of the required parts for the 8600, was wondering if I should just download the 8600 and tune it to that one. I have the new impeller and intake manifold for the stage 2 but if it’s safe to use the stage 3 I would love to do so. Appreciate ya homie keep up the content!

I get 8590-8600 in prime conditions with my 8600 tune and stage three set up. What a difference though, eh!?

For those that are not aware....the trixx comes with a 90hp motor and a top speed of 48mph

empire spark use an actual gps you’ll find that it is closer to 48-49mph, the one on the spark is a little off

Sure does. If you have the maptuner, you can bring it back to stock, though... nobody will know 🤫. I brought mine back to stock, then to the dealer the other day. Never would have known lol

The tune revision was older, try to update and re-tune. It worked after the second tune.

@@tjcapel196 reach out to them, they might have your ski in their tune software still. That's why I recommended to actually buy the maptuner... Although it's expensive lol. Anyways, reach out and ask them to retune since you're having that problem. They'll either do it few or discount it since it was botched

Nothing other than a factory defect, my green ski is on a similar tune after 5 years with absolutely no damage at all. Hope that helps

Im curious is why these are called a trixx? It doesnt do any its way to heavy. My 1993 wave blaster can do a wheelie like that without freestyle trim setup lol for 10k that thing better do barrelrolls and backflips lol

Probably more reliable....My Spark was the biggest pile of junk. I’m now back with Yamaha

feels like the 8600 and up are the same. tryed the 9k+race tune, and running the 8600 again. onoly thing i can say it does, is the sound of it in air, but its not good for the engine. Im at 8170 with stage 3 and ss wear ring 8600 12/14

i think it's all throttle response after a point. higher RPM is higher top speed i suppose. after i get the RIVA intake on and stainless hull washers, i'm going to try to crank it a bit more. at least everyone will know if the other upgrades will be worth it. end goal is turbo lol

What was your reasoning for getting a SS wear ring? You get a rock then you risk the impeller..plus it's called a wear ring bc...its supposed to wear, right? Feel like plastic gets a better seal.

@@kaseybowen i changed because there is alot of shit in the lake, and break rings often. no problems after. Mine still does 53 mph with ss same as with plastic. Im not getting a rock in there cuz i dont let others ride it anymore unless we are far out on deep sea. i was unsure aswell before i changed, had the same thoughts about it. but im not going back. When it come to tune, the 8600 fells the same as the race tune 9k+. to me, it only moves the limiter, and i didnt get anything out of it, so i stick to the 8600.

not many honestly, most of the issues were from assembly at the dealership. Motor wise, it is incredibly reliable. I had assembly issues with the hull and with the alignment of the motor inside the hull. Once that was taken care of by warranty, it was solid, even after the stage 2 upgrade! my friend has 230 hours on his stage 3 ski, so i'd say it's pretty reliable. he did no work to the motor - only to the jet pump and performance upgrades.

Why don’t they just come tuned like that?

If you're only hitting 48-49 not worth it I hit, 50 and highest I hit was 52-53 at a stock spark 2up 90hp

Maybe gives you an extra mph or two. The top speed really doesn't matter though, it's the acceleration
