I don't think we'll ever see Dead Hand again, it seemed to be specifically linked to OoT's Shadow Temple area.

@@megaman37456 not just the shadow temple. It was also in other areas such as the forest and fire temple. They just weren’t much of a threat as they only appeared in small rooms which you never stayed in long enough for them to really activate. I only really remember this cause Navi pointed out to watch out for wall masters.

If you noticed, the Redead’s rib cage opens up when it cries out. Maybe if it gets close enough to link and lunges at him, the rib cage will wrap around him making it difficult to shake him off Update: for all the people correcting me on the enemy type please realize this comment was made before the game released…

Botw was such a great game, but it's enemy variety was severly lacking. Can't wait to see these new monsters in action!

I personally would be fine with the limited enemy variety if there was more lore with them. If something similar to Elder Scrolls or Shadow of Mordor were in Zelda (where some normal enemies were given names and slightly higher stats and they could get a bit of lore/backstory, too, in order to make them feel more fleshed out.) The enemy variety in conjunction with the wide amounts of wildlife is why I was actually okay with the limited amount of enemies. Now, all we need is a Bokoblin/Lizalfos/Lynel village where we can do quests for some of them...

I really love how Ganondawf is getting voice acting.

If you look at the horn that the boss bokoblin uses you can see that it's the scrapped lynel horn from developer notes.

I really hope they bring back the moldorock and make it as a frequent enemy/mini boss to deal with. Also would love to see the parasite boss from skyward sword(the one on the whale) attached to the dragons since that can make it interesting. finally please bring back the deku baba and make it located in the forest areas. Other than enemies id like to see back I'd also love for the malice eyes to make enemies come to you once your spotted. I found it really disappointing when I found out that the malice eyes did nothing once you were spotted.

Damn dude, I haven't watched your past few videos as I've been sidetracked and my viewing is unpredictable af but glad to see you've started narrating your videos. I really like your voice, it fits really well 😁 Regarding the video itself, I definitely think the 'mummy' enemy could be a Redead and I really hope soo, it'll be great to have tons of new enemies, I don't know how I feel about the Bokoblin bosses being seen 'frequently' I fear they may just end up being moblins at that point, unless they scale them to be much tougher than them. The stone titan boss like sculpture thing looks really exciting too, it seems we may have bosses in the main overworld which is really awesome!

If they have boss bokoblins as an enemy they definitely have boss versions of other enemies. Boss Lizalfos for example might mimic a dinolfos. A boss Lynel sounds terrifying though haha

@@Mirage475 Just watch the bloodmoon cutscene in BOTW when the enemies are respawning..the enemies showing in the cutscene are pretty much all enemies in the game except bosses.. then watch the latest trailer from totk enemies spawn the same way during bloodmoon .Thats what im trying to say lol

Don't know why it's so hard for you to understand the cutscene doesn't show everything. The original game didn't show octorocks or lynels in the cutscene and those aren't labeled as mini-bosses. Do you really think Nintendo is going to spoil every single enemy type in a cutscene? Think about it dude

The re-dead’s make me think that they aren’t sticking with BOTW fresh approach of technology instead of magic.

At 2:03, it looks like it's made from the blocks that are used for the Korok puzzles in BOTW. Just a guess that they'll be found around where those puzzles are located.

I think there is another new monster in the trailer, right at the end when the logo comes up there is some green energy to the far left infront of a block, if you zoom in you can see 2 mechanical crab like legs.

I’m pretty sure the enemies in the first shot will be the Kargaroks from Wind Waker. They have a large wingspan much like their Wind Waker counterparts and both carry enemies. But if we’re getting Kargaroks, we better get the Helmaroc King as a boss. I would love to see it. Also would REALLY love to see the Gibdos come back, they’ve appeared in a lot of games including the very first. I would love to see them as humanlike malice monsters wrapped in sheets that you must tear off before attacking the vulnerable malice beneath.

Eh hard to say. Kargaroks have been traditionally shown to be avian. These new creatures are bat/amphibian-like instead. Could just be a different design choice of them, so I won't hold my breath either way.

One Zelda Enemy im really surprised hasn’t made an appearance in Tears of the Kingdom is Tektites I mean they’re a staple Zelda enemy they’ve been around since the first game and I can image encountering the jumping spider crabs on death mountain in the game

Honestly i wish they showed us a bit more stuff but made it less clear, like sticking gleeok very far back or hinting at an enemy with a hieroglyphic, it'd give us more to chew on rather than only really being able to say "that thing that's 2 feet away from the camera is a redead because it's a redead"

This is true but I think since the yare more reptilian in design they are more in tune with Agoroks (dragon form) of twilight princess which is a type of evolution of kagoroks. Although since they seem more frog like I think they are adding a new evolution in itself. maybe Fragoroks?

The flying enemies seem to be a third evolutionary tree for the Kagoroks and agoroks seen in TP and WW. They seem more frog like similar to the frog monsters in SS or the frog mini boss in TP which I think are call Spume. So it feels like a combination of 2 classic Zelda enemies.

Might be just me being blind... but I haven't spotted lynels. I hope they are still in the game cause.. I really likem em
