It does take a lot of knowledge & experience to do that. But one guy says it was the editing and I have my doubts. The shot is possible but very hard, the only thing that I don't doubts is Efren's skill

@Jhom Eduarte was thinking more real life " some what 15yrs ago have replaced few 🎱 this game will always be a part of me I've played the best I beat the best and i know every engilish in the book of pool won 3rd place in tournament and I was only 14 yrs of age 😀 I love the game of course you can't win them all but I'm just that confident that in this world any shark is just another test
Making the ball is only half the shot. Controlling where the cue ball goes is the other half. I am amazed at Efrin's mastery of cue ball control.
Efren is the best ever hands down, his attitude and his game. He is a Champion!!
there always a debate whether who's the goat in every sports Basketball has Jordan or LeBron Football has Messi or Ronaldo Boxing has Ali or Robinson but with Billiards we can all agree that Efren is standing alone at the top
I hope he keeps playing forever, though whenever he is ready to retire, we will have plenty of footage to rewatch and to enjoy for years to come. He's been a true blessing to this sport.
Funnest pool player to watch I've ever come across. Efran can still play better than most at his age. His eyesight is still strong.

Su vista y su pulso están intactos, todavía juega al más alto nivel. Decimos acá en México... "A Efrén se le cocina aparte".
I think he is far from his former self, you cannot afford those to errors in top level competition and at his age and eye sight it would be difficult for his aging body to handle the pressure especially if the match involve time pressure. Just like the saying goes "The mind is willing but the body is weak". Efren is really a super human because at his age right now he can still defeat quality opponents like this one, at this level of opposition yes he can dominate but to compete for the top level competition I think he is still capable but the chances of winning is very small. Our old pool hero still wants to play and show his bag of tricks to the audience and their will come a time that he will truly hang his sticks and call it quits, their will never be another Efren Reyes and his contribution and exploits to the world of pool is really phenomenal.

Actually, surprisingly even the modern top players make "easy" mistakes from time to time, so he can afford a miss here and there, as long it isn't too often. And also he compensates it with incredible shots from difficult positions, which a lot of modern players aren't capable of doing to the same extent.

Efren is g.o.a.t….. he is still a brilliant player, this is down to the fact he loves the game, god forbid but when he passes I think it will be with a cue in his hand and chalk on his shirt.🙏🏻
He can definitely play exhibitions like this one....but the grueling pace of tournament, where you have to play 3 or 4 matches in a day...I don't know if he can do that. He clearly hasn't lost his touch. Great video...I was smiling through the whole thing. I never fail to learn something watching Bata. He's the best.
On and off the table, Efren is a great roll model for generations to come. May God bless his remaining years.
Even at 68, Efren is still a phenomenally skilled player! As far as I'm concerned, he is still the #1 player in the world! I am also 68, and have been playing pool since I was 14. One thing I've learned is that you never stop learning no matter how old you are and how much you think you know!

The trick shot at [ 15:22 ] was a risky one but even though it failed it would still end as a safety shot.
I saw a video of this same match where at the end, Justin asked Efren to repeat the 3 rail kick that he tried to attempt, as if Efren is his tutor. That was a very wholesome moment that shows Justin's respect to the Maestro

Efren is still a good player, that has the capability to SOMETIMES play at an elite level. But he is no longer good enough to compete successfully at 9 or 10 ball against the best players in the world. This is why he doesn't play in anymore of the big tournaments.
