    I saw the thumbnail, and before clicking on the video, as I'm want to do, I pondered it a bit. Those are not exactly what I was expecting, I had a very different list, but they're great nonetheless.

    @@EnglishMartialArts oh nothing special, but as your curious my top 5 were 1) Mendoza in his guard, because it's just iconic 2) James Miller's prize-fighters in outside guard; because it's just a beautifully drawn image of the fighters of Figg's day. 3) Charles Layton's "loose-leg"; because it really captures the moment of a foot-sweep in action. 4) Ernest Gruhn's "halch throw"; for a similar reason to the last, it captures a moment perfectly. 5) Donald Walker's "inside lock"; a fifth image was a little hard off the top of my head, but I'm happy with this pick.

    @EnglishMartialArts I have one too. Nice and solid - but unfortunately you can't carry anything here (Australia) without a "lawful excuse." So while it's fun to practice stick arts, it doesn't do you any good for self-defense.

    again before seeing the video...... the hat and dagger throw in thalhoffer the pommel throw in the gladiatoria the bashed in head with the peasants club in PH Mair the kick in the balls in Dürers book the thrust throught the head with the rapier.... I think it was capo ferro honour mention: the smashing with the beer mug in the petters worstelkunst 😀 edit after watcher: bummer.... 0/5 - you are waaaaaaaaaaay to modern, buddy 😀
