Good game! That move when I blocked your army in Africa was an accident, I only realized after that how smart it was. Very well played! At the end I shouldn't have taken australia completely to defend yellow, if I did that you wouldn't get his cards and the game wouldn't be over.

You should make a video of what to do when you’re in a position like purple or green (when you don’t have a continent and are being manual rolled to be taken out)
I watched a few of the beginner videos, and I'm learning some useful strategies about turtling. But it was also cool hearing the strategy in the end-game that mostly went over my head. Looking forward to improving my game.

@Risk4Ever

Not really, we just try not to prolong the game, so whoever ends up the strongest - we expect from that person to make some attacks. And also we try to make a lot of attacks in general, so it's better to avoid turtling.
Yahoo
When people deliberately avoid turtling, but the game lasts just as long. Where failure is likely to be caused by random chance rather than skill. That's how I see it as.

Could you explain the difference between blitz and normal roll?
@Risk4Ever
3 жыл бұрын
With the blitz function you can immediately crush your whole opponents army, so you don't need to waste a lot of time doing the manual rolls which let you take only 2 troops of your opponent per one manual roll at most. But when you don't want to crush the whole opponents army, then you can use manual rolls, or if you see that the blitz chance odds are very low which can make you lost more troops. However, one of the recent updates brought the "attack limit" function, so now if you don't want to use all of your troops attacking your opponents army but want to save some time, you can just adjust the slider on how many troops you want to use.

Why do you play with 6 people to start if you only want to get to 3 players right away? why not just start with 3 players?
@Risk4Ever
2 жыл бұрын
I play when I want. But if you ask why I do not upload 3 player games on KZread, it is because there is a very low demand for them. In the poll, which I asked my subscribers how many player games they like to play the most when it comes to fixed cards, the results were: 3 player - 3%, 4 player - 35%, 5 player - 14% and 6 player - 48%. It takes a while to make commentaries so it's better to only upload what people enjoy watching, so then it's a win-win. I think 3 player fixed games are not that popular because they quite suppress the diplomacy aspect which people probably like a lot, and people who would like shorter games will pick 4 player games, while those who want longer ones will pick 6 player games, so the 5 player games stay kinda in between.
the green player should have crush his army into someone instead being cannon fodder and targeted by the others that gang up on him. it was a disgusting slaughter. fight and be a small decider. ofc, all gm's will start crying now, a smaller player could ruin their beautiful play that consists in teaming up and be faster than noobs. :)
I just started playing this game and am already better than Putin. bless you all

Suicide is up all across the world not just risk. Play public lobby’s. Be strong. I know you can do better than set up games.
Not a popular opinion, but I think your subscribers tend not attack you, especially in the early game.
@Risk4Ever
3 жыл бұрын
I would probably agree, 1) they are fans and come to play with me, probably for a lot of them it wouldn't be that much interesting to eliminate me early and continue playing without me, 2) whenever I'm one of the strongest players - I'm willing to take the alliance seriously and team up attacking others a lot, even if I get a big continent and in risk of getting quite easily invaded by not being strong enough yet to properly guard, and when there are still a bunch of people who come to turtle, it makes a lot of sense for aggressive players to team up with me to not stalemate the game, getting to the 3 player situation as soon as possible... But on the other hand it's not always like that. Some people will want to get rid of me the most as they want to beat their "teacher", or like if it's a game with a lot of turtling players and I attack those turtles a lot, while sometimes even being one of the weakest players, so the game wouldn't stalemate, and in doing so obviously bringing a lot of attention to myself... Also keep in mind that I'm uploading the best and most interesting games, so usually you won't see a gameplay uploaded when I get eliminated early with the game still continuing for a long time. It's not that much interesting for viewers to keep watching the game after I get eliminated and the analytics has shown that, so unless I lost at the very end, it's a small probability for a losing gameplay to be uploaded on KZread. And if subscribers want that the gameplay with them would be potentially analyzed and uploaded, then that's another reason for them to keep me in the top 3 endgame.
I would watch this if you either actually talked with your voice or didn't talk with the robot voice. Btw the music isn't that great either
Jo i stopped the video after 3 min this robo voice is killing it for me
That was not a 'smart player' game. I disagree with several remarks regarding the strategy and tactics.
@Risk4Ever
3 жыл бұрын
In sub games basically all of us know the turtling tactics when you don't attack anyone while hoping that your inexperienced opponents will destroy each other, or the manipulation strategies when you want that all the dirty work would be done by your opponents with you putting as less efforts as possible, so that's something that wouldn't work out here, it would just make the game to stalemate until someone finally quits. So currently what I find the best for the strongest players to do to not make the game stalemate but at the same time sustain the advantage among themselves, is to try making mutually beneficial alliances with each other and try getting rid of their weaker opponents until there are 3 players in total left, then of course instead of sticking in serious alliances, you much more look to the balance of the game because you don't want to give away the game for your ally just for you to get the 2nd place (which would be totally meaningless anyways with it being unranked Play Friends game). So if you know anything better than that, then it would be helpful 👍
Why dont I see the rank of my opponent
@Risk4Ever

The developers have hidden them recently while in the game, so higher ranked players wouldn't get targeted that much. So as of now you cannot see them until the game ends

@@Risk4Ever But I've seen it depends somewhat on the ratio of won games, for example someone who has 10 wins and 100 loses probably doesn't have a high rank and someone who has the opposite(100 wins and 10 loses) will most likely have a high rank, maybe you could share those ratios?
i kinda hate the rules you impose i know it makes for much more reasonably timed videos but it kinda takes a lot of the strategy out of the game and instead its just lets gang up on the weakest player
@Risk4Ever
3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing your point of view, but what do you think it would be better to do for the strongest players instead? (Assuming you're playing with the players who know the turtling tactics and wouldn't be dumb to do the dirty work for you and are the ones who wouldn't suicide getting emotional like in these shared subscriber games). 1) For them to fight each other isn't beneficial, as then it would let weaker players to catch up to them so they would just waste their advantage instead of being guaranteed to keep it. 2) If everyone tried to sustain the number of troops among all of the players more or less equally then it would be very hard someone to eliminate, and I would assume it would be hard to imagine this scenario in a 6 player game happening, someone would try or be taking the advantage of that whether intentionally or not. And once again why to do that for the strongest players instead of keeping the advantage for themselves. 3) Or if the strongest players are just turtling and refusing to attack or eliminate someone from the game, then the game will just be a stalemate with nobody taking anyone out. While a strong player knows that by taking someone out he will highly lessen his advantage, a weak player knows not to start attacking someone either, as he would just be putting himself into more and more disadvantage as well. So with nobody attacking anyone it would just become the game of patience of which player quits the game last. Or if players attacked each other from time to time but then got in good terms with each other again, then with nobody getting eliminated the game would stalemate as well. That's probably the most common scenario, happening in high ranked public lobby games, which usually end up either by players suiciding or disconnecting. So would you say it's much more strategy here? The thing with 4-6 player fixed card games is that the players are not really encouraged to attack or take out each other. If you attack someone and waste your troops when other players are just hoarding their troops into their continents and basically do nothing, then you will put yourself into a disadvantage or even sacrifice yourself. So in a high level fixed card 4-6 player games what I currently find the best to do is making mutually beneficial alliances and together trying to eliminate other players from the game.
