Breaking Bad for me is perfect. Nothing felt boring, I wanted to watch Walter get out of trouble for all 5 seasons, Gus might be the best TV villain of all time and it ended perfectly. I doubt a better show will come along (side note: The Twilight Zone was ahead of its time and influenced filmmakers like JJ Abrams)

breaking bad gets the edge over Sopranos for me specifically for the ending. still one of the goats tho, it does the black out screen ending better than any other show but breaking bad ends on such a satisfying yet bittersweet note I just have to give it the dub

If you haven't watched it yet, I highly recommend all of you to check out *Fargo* (The Show... but I guess the movie too). Interesting, mature plot, believable characters, great performances, especially Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman and all of that without cheesy dialog or tiresome clichés. If you liked breaking bad, you might enjoy this too!

My all time favorite show is The Shield for all of the reasons you said for SoA. Sons was written by one of the main writers of The Shield and there are parallels to draw between the two

I would have put BB as #1 but that's just my opinion. I watched a lot of good shows and Sons of Anarchy was definitely one of the best ones I've seen but the ending absolutely crushed me. The story in itself was so tragic (Jax's life) and it was so sad that it really is hard to think about. I cried for a couple of days & felt empty after it. Mehhh lol are you not a Walking dead or GoT fan? You need to watch those if you haven't tried I promise they aren't overrated. I would also suggest reading walking dead comics too.

just artsy things you should watch The Shield. It was made by a lot of the same people as SoA and has a ton of the same actors. Kurt Sutter (SoA creator) was an executive producer on The Shield and eventually became the show runner. You don’t care about the characters as much as sons but the writing and a lot of the acting are way better. Plus it has one of the best and most emotional finales ever.

I understand 100% how you feel about Doctor Who. For me, my favorite show is Battlestar Galactica, and no matter how well acted or directed another TV show is, i cannot see anything being better than Battlestar Galactica in my eyes.

My favourite shows: 1. Doctor Who 2. The Walking Dead 3. Game Of Thrones 4. Black Mirror 5. Orphan Black If I was to do a top 10, it would include Stranger Things, Sense8, FTWD, Torchwood, & BTVS.

How wasnt Breaking Bad perfect? I want you to tell me What part wasnt perfect, cus i rewatched it 4 times and i still cant find a single flaw

I personally loved breaking bad but there's just way too many stereotypical characters like Mike, Gus and Tuco Mike is that one character that everyone thought was cool and tough Gus is way too cartoony And Tuco is your typical villain lunatic But overall, I loved it. Storywise it's probably the best written show but character wise they're definitely not the best in that area Only compelling characters are definitely just Walter,Jesse,Hank and Skyler as they had more complexity in their character not like Gus who acts and feels like a cartoon character when he's on screen

the first season makes a lot of people stop watching the show, also Saul Goodman is way too OP he would get anyone out of any trouble in a matter of minutes, some character decisions doesnt make any sense

it wasn’t perfect in the way that it didn’t conform to typical tv drama, and that would be flawed in some eyes. in my eyes however. it was absolutely beautiful and a literal masterpiece

I recently got into doctor who. but it's hard to binge watch it. most BBC TV shows are really good. my favorite is breaking bad for its awesome conclusion.really wished dexter ended like that..I was so invested into that show too. sherlok,the wire, firefly and fringe will be in my top list too.

Stargate movie for context, then watch SG-1. It gets way better starting from season 2-3.

Lol its kind of odd but one of the biggest things I base my favorites on is the music. Not necessarily the specific choice of song or music (although important) but how it makes me feel. When a show has characters you love and a plot that hits so hard. Its that moment when the music kicks in (usually towards the end) but when that song or well made music comes in over characters doing their thing, it can feel like a culmination of the entire series. It is when you can feel the entire show rush past in your mind and really get the feels. That when you know it wasn't just a TV show or entertainment but an experience that will stick with you. That, at least for me, is when I know I loved the show.

Great stuff! We seem to have very similar taste regarding television. I looked through your tv review playlist but I couldn't find a review of a specific show so, I'm recommending it. I may have missed it so I apologize in advance, however; If you haven't yet, I would highly recommend watching "The OA". I tried it a while back and watched about 10 minutes of the first episode but I wasn't enthralled by it so I stopped. *VeRy StUpID* I recently watched the full series and was blown away. It is now one of my top 5 shows. It's mysterious, introspective, hopeful, heart wrenching, and solid with an outstanding cast. It is complete yet easily questioned. One of my favorite things about it is that the story isn't finite. Yes, there are concrete facts given throughout, but most of the show is left to the viewers interpretation. Sometimes that can be a negative but, in this case, it works flawlessly. I found myself having different theories every few minutes but then completely changing them an episode later. It's produced by Netflix with 1 season currently available to stream. I believe season 2 comes out in early 2018. I really think you would enjoy it and I'd love to see your review of it. You may not like it but, from your content I've watched, I really think you'd be a fan. I just found your channel and I really enjoy your content. Thanks for all your hard work! I think that Hannibal would be in my top 10 as well, so will Peaky Blinders! So Fargo, Peaky Blinders, Hannibal, Mr. Robot and Banshee. And Archer. Fuck. Top 11 then.

My top 4 would be: 1. One Tree Hill (like you said, the characters are the most fundamental part of a TV show. I love the characters and their interactions with one another and how they change and grow as the show goes on. Also, only show that makes feel every emotion known to mankind. I'd admit I cried a few times) 2. Community (Most original and well written comedy. Also, insanely rematchable) 3. Game of Thrones (self-explanatory) 4. Daredevil (The fight scenes are amazing. And the characters and story transcends what it really is, a comic book tv show)

For some reason, I just could not get into sons of anarchy. After the first few episodes, I found myself hating most of the characters because of what they had done.

Right but I'm pretty sure Sopranos changed television history

Breaking bad has a great place in my mind. Highly rewatchable and I cared deeply about all the main characters. But my number one show of all time has to be Band of Brothers. Music, action, comedy, pathos, effects, writing, production, locations... it goes on. I cared too much for the characters. Tears and emotions I have rarely experienced watching any media. Beautiful and terrifying. Excellent balance. Oz was visceral. Loved and hated it. Special show. Not many of my friends have watched it. Hasn't aged well. Just missed the hd age.

Without a doubt, FARGO is quickly becoming the best show of all-time in almost every way! Stylistically, the editing, cinematography, original score and music the writing, tone dark humor mixed with dead seriousness and brutality, Fargo has become my personal favorite tv show of all-time!

ItAlex Ricky and morty ain’t half as good as South Park

The way you feel about Dr. Who is the way I feel about Twin Peaks. My daughter (who is 12 now) is well aware of the fact that I expect her to love Twin Peaks b/c when I was giving birth to her, I did everything possible to ensure that it would become part of her soul. I had the soundtrack playing in the background and a picture of Agent Cooper over my hospital bed looking down on us (that was fun to explain to my doctor). I would be DEVASTATED if she doesn't end up liking it. The only show I've watched on this list is Breaking Bad but I still enjoyed it. Oh and oddly enough this video came up when I searched for reviews about Dexter but I already knew it was HIGHLY unlikely that it would be on the list from watching your other videos 🤔
