The most important thing you said was 'I' m invisible on a bike '.... Remember that any new motorcyclist, it will keep you alive. Most car drivers are not paying sufficient attention, rarely see bikes, frequently don't see other cars, or even trucks and buses. Every time you swing your leg over think... NOW I' M INVISIBLE. Stay safe ;-)

I find that most people do the wave here in Chicago, but it could be because we have much less bikers and a shorter riding season than in much of Europe, so seeing a fellow glutton for punishment on an early spring or late fall day creates a sense of comradery. I've even accidentally given a wave to a motorcycle once before realizing I was on my bicycle that day! Only got a bemused look in return :)

Random question, a few months ago you made a review on your Goldtop leather jacket. I was just wondering how it handles rain? I bought one last week (although the 1958 model) and am new to the bike world so didn't realise that analine leather although "top notch" is apparently easily destroyed in the rain. I bought their wax so hopefully that'll help but I was wondering how yours is/any experiences you have had? Love your videos and owe you my thanks for helping guide me through so many things so far e.g buying a Mutt 125 lol

Talking of being invisible, have you noticed that some new LGVs or what where known as HGVs are mirrorless, they have little cameras where you would expect to see rear view mirrors? When overtaking one I like to keep one eye on the drivers mirror to see if they have noticed me, with no mirrors we have lost that channel of communication between you and the truck driver, that's a step backwards if you ask me.

@@TheMissendenFlyer Ok, here it goes. "Hey kids is mister flyer here. Here are the top 5 things I don't like about the Ducati Panigale, in no specific order." 1. Not a comfortable bike. But it is a sport bike so not a surprise. 2. The mirrors are "rubbish". They vibrate a lot. Can't see what is behind you. 3. It is an expensive bike. 4. A lot of power, which is good, but much more power than needed for normal road trips. A 750cc engine is all you really need. 5. It runs very hot. If you live in a moderate climate you should be ok, but should be aware of the heat if you live in a hot climate. A couple of honorable mentions: 1. It is a "one trick pony" and 2. Interesting My first bike was around a 74 or so Ducati 860 which was just great to ride. A couple of years later I got a 78 Ducati 900 SD and it was great to ride handled great better than any thing else I have been on. Years later I bought a new 83 Motto Guzzi Le mans which also was great to ride not as easy as the Darmah but a lot of fun. So I don't know what your talking about the new panigale being so easy to ride. My SD was very easy to ride it turned so easy at slow speed also. I also had a Gold wing for a while I forgot what year. I was my brothers bike and I bought it from him. Probably about a 83 or so.

@@TheMissendenFlyer A good friend of mine had a Ducati 750 low bars and all that. It had the glas tank with the see through you could see the fuel level. And he bought a new Hailwood replica. Around 1980. He had it shipped from Canada. I rode that one a few times too on 50/ 250 mile trips. Was a really nice bike but my favorite was the Super Darmah. I am glad you are doing the videos. I may get a bike again. Was looking at older one the ST 3. Or if I found a nice SD. But the Panigales interest me now and your review on the streetfighter impressed me. Maybe they come out with a V2. Maybe it's the power that the bikes are producing now that makes you feel the way you say and I never pushed my bikes very hard anyway. But I was often over 100 mph on trips.

Completely agree the HJC helmets are always very comfortable, that's possibly why they are the best selling helmet in the USA. I'm afraid I disagree about the sound on Ducati Panigale V2 personally even with a sports Cann like a lot of twins they sound like a industrial sewing machine's, take the BMW GS1250 with the Boxster engine for example great Bike but awful sounding engine. have a listen to a V4 Aprillia Tuono or better still a Yamaha MT10 / R1 with a CP4 engine that's what you call a great sound!!!!

Very good point.Unless you are planning on plenty of track days which is highly unlikely what with covid and Winter this relentless battle with the manufacturers to produce 200 BHP plus 1000s is crazy now.Even the super nakeds are in this territory now.I for one had to trade in my Blade purely and simply because it is a license loser and every 3 points hikes up your insurance premium of course.Gone are the days when speed cops in cars were the only way you were going to get caught speeding. Now its all craftily positioned vans and easy revenue for the Government.Hope you find the right compromise maybe between a 600 and a 1000.
