Riding Bikes | 2023 Ducati Panigale V2 | First Impressions around NYC v1777

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I got a chance to take a spin on my boys brand new 2023 Ducati Panigale V2 in White Rosso livery. What a machine. First of all I want to thank my boy Lukas for the opportunity.What a brutal and beautiful machine. Making all the right noises and giving me all the special feelings. Just took it around the block, more or less, around Brooklyn. Got a few pulls in on the highway and then went to my favorite block to do a bit of a walk about. Thank you all, as always, for your support, love, comments, views, everything. I appreciate all of your time. RIde safe, be well, and if you read this far let me hear you say #panigalev2

    The excitement never wears off, brotherman. It is always a smile bringer. You can’t go anywhere on that bike without someone wanting to talk to you about it. The bike is very composed and well behaved when you drive it slow but has all the enjoyment of retaining the ponies for when you want them. Also, with you in sport, you’re not getting all the hp that bike offers; go to race and finally get all the ponies and parameters for slinging that little bastard around corners and long straights.

    @@Pyrrho_ yeah, wheelie control and traction control really rob the hp. I wanted to test the wheelie control so I put the bike in first gear about 6k rpm and went max wrist and the bike didn’t even try to pull the nose. If I tried that with the wheelie control off, I’d do a backflip, lol. I appreciate having the options but I prefer riding without the training wheels.

    got to ride my dads 2017 yamaha r1 last summer and it was my first liter bike. The speed and torque was the strangest and most exhilarating feeling I had felt on a bike. There’s nothing ugly about your riding, looking forward to seeing what you eventually choose for your next bike but so so happy that you’ll be keeping the 620 regardless. A friend of mine has a 900ss that he bought new in 1981 and still has it 🤗; I’m still looking for the right S2R or S4R, hoping to find one this year and then later in the year a 748 - maybe 🤔. lol, the ride that wasn't a review but none the less was a totally visceral example of what it's like to ride a v2 Panigale especially through those closed in roads in New York, (compared to being in the country) a lot of people would have seen the reality of owning this bike more than from a lot of professional bike journo's reviews. Btw, in Australia if we did the speeds you did in this vid and got caught we'd make the news and lose the bike for some period of time, pay a big fine and lose our license for a year or more too. I know this because I hear it on our new services. Anyway entertaining vid, cheers.

    Ok the San Francisco squat isn't a good look 😅😅 Next saying it's too much power isn't a good philosophy to have. We are all intimidated initially by something new especially the generational gap of your existing monster. Go for the streetfighter v2 or v4 in my case. You can never have enough WFO

    ...do not know; it sounds like a single cylinder in this PC; also looks outdated; front; mirrors etc. The only one that I like of all these new sports bikes is the MV Agusta superveloce and has about the same HP

  • @ducatinyc

    @ducatinyc

    The audio does not do the bike justice in real life and yea, sure I love Superveloce too if it was affordable and reliable. I'm guessing this V2 is better in both areas.

    @@ducatinyc new Triumph and Ducati in this Country were in the same importer; now only Triumph but they still receive Ducati for service and rebuild due to new importer is not good; the mechanic there is a buddy and he said that all the failures; included total overhaul on some models were/are on Ducati never on a Triumph...may be Triumph owners had luck or are better but always the rap with Ducati is that are not reliable...I do not think so and so about the MV, I do not think so too; also about Triumph; still I do not think so; but I ride old bikes and I rebuild the engines never had a car; always on bikes and bicycles so my vision could be different

    The roads in New York are disgusting, and riding a motorcycle reminds me of my childhood in the country and riding a horse without a saddle on a road without asphalt and where you constantly fly on every bump.
