@@maxf7351 yes a web note will have just a number in that spot and a regular note or sheetfed note the number will have a letter before the number and on the reverse, of a web note, there will be a number to the right of the word trust at the top and on the regular note the number will be below the E in the word one in big letters also they only made web notes in 1988, 1993, and 1995 I believe

the bills with the star's on them are pretty common just have to look at everyone that goes through your hands and you'll find some. also, your can find star notes in other denomination like $1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100

For a 1988 note still in circulation, that thing looked pretty hot. I thought it was newer, and have never seen a tiny number to the lower right before. Have to look into that

It's because error notes are very hard to find. Error notes are extremely scarce because 99% of paper money is manufactured normally, but below 1% (like 0.0025% or lower) may be caused by problems to the paper money machine. Error notes are as valuable as special serial numbers, but the big difference is that Error notes appear once in a lifetime to any individual who finds one and immediately recognizes it in their change. Think about it for a second. If you lost that error note into circulation, then you're never going to find one like it anymore. That's how unique and special error notes are.

Yes for real a birthday note with the lucky 777 strip and the big thing being that they found an error supposedly destroyed it and made this but something wasn't destroyed because we got half of the Error note or at least have the Error note full serial number on one side that's insane! Straight insanity

Hi I have a dollar bill . Next to the number one stamped . It’s not a typed number. It’s under neath the 12 it has a the number one it’s 1 and the next 2 zeros go down in size hard to explain. It’s not from a pen or a pencil. When you shine it with the light it’s transparent you can’t see it . I have yet to see any one dollar bill next to the seal . Can someone tell me if this is part of the note or did I just found something that’s extremely rare . And if so how would I know the value of it if in-fact is something to be looked at and can guide me to find out. I can send you a picture and you can tell me if I’ve found something

unfortunately its worth $1 if there were 7 zeros either in a row or not it would be worth more or if the 3 was a 1-2-0 it would be worth more or if the 1and the 2 were zeros it would be worth a whole lot more. these are referred to as fancy serial numbers.
