I think Jal and ANA trump all three of these, better hard product, beverages including champagne and you get business class lounge access included which to me is a game changer

9:29 on some routes it's the only option you have when flying economy class these are SQ33/34 SFO-SIN SQ21/23 EWR/JFK-SIN. The way to get it below the normal price is combining a US to Singapore flight with another Regional flight in Southeast Asia. Example is Newark to Manila via Singapore since in some cases it goes for $863 making it cheaper then it's regional competitor Philippine Airlines for double the price PR127 JFK-MNL

Are you kidding me, unless it has recently renovated its premium economy class, EVA has the oldest EC section, mediocre compared with other airlines. I flew EVA first ever Premium Economy class in the airline industry invented by them back in the early 2000, it was oh so so peachy. Their sears were so cozy, service top notch. Things have changed so much over the years, service still commendable, but hardwares are so outdated. Just flew PEC class with them again last year (April, LAX-BKK, rt) nothing to brag about, especially hardwares compared to JAL or ANA. EVA really MUST revamp their PEC.

I have yet to try to take Eva premium soon to form my opinion.

Wish I had seen this before booking my next flight, economy just won't cut it now.

Emirates premium class is exactly to my and familys needs and taste.. Not any significant flaw either. Comfy enough, also in long haul, because of the leg rest.

I usually book my seat this way: airborne flight of max 4 hours: economy. 4-8 hours: premium econ, over 8 hours: business. If premium econ class not available on the aircraft, then it becomes less than 5 hours economy, over 5 hours business.

How much is premium economy seat?

I think emirate is best premium eco though. Eva is old aircraft based on my experience in eco and I’m going to fly premium Singapore this summer and see if it’s better than emirate. The service in Singapore even in eco is the best ever.

Singapore Premium Economy, and the airline as a whole, have sharply declined in quality of service over the past ten years. The catering in premium economy is really no better than in economy. And the service from the vaunted Singapore Girls is often cold, and perfunctory. Although I live in Singapore, I try to avoid SIA when I can. Preferring Emirates, EVA, Cathay, and even United.

May say ‘economy’ but prices are first class.

I paid $2600+ to United Airline from LAX To Sydney…..but economy….. the chairs don’t recline and i had neck pains..the space is narrow and the food TERRIBLE…i will never take United Airline again…never
