I LOVE the hemi-squalane! It’s SOOO affordable and using it on my hair and face is super lightweight and hydrating! I usually use it right after cleansing before moisturizer if I don’t have a typical hyaluronic acid hydrating serum. And I use it on my hair if I feel like it’s unmanageable and needs moisture in a pinch.

Your son should seek out glycolic peels Salicylic facial washes. If his acne hurts and even if it doesn't have him ice his face twice a day with the cleanser on for 10 minutes and at the end of the day with the glycolic solution on. Only rinse the cleanser after the 10 minutes. This will help penetrate the product into the skin and take some of the inflammation out of his skin and lesson the pain and redness. Use AHA and GLYcolic Acid with a salicylic wash. Also get professional grade peels and use red light if you want to added benefits.

I currently use & enjoy the B Oil and have previously used the Retinol Oil (but moved on to prescription now). They are great oils. I am oily, acne prone and neither broke me out, and I feel the retinol is quite gentle especially since it's delivered in a squalane oil. I also use the Marula Oil in my hair (previously used on my face, 110% do not recommend, break out city!). If I can get the other squalane oil here in Aus I'd love to try it next. I feel like it would be a great day time oil.

I just got the B oil yesterday. I actually used it this morning (only two drops) because I actually didn’t feel that it was too heavy for Daytime! It does help that I don’t mind a slightly shiny look but it’s definitely not too greasy and melts into the skin with an hour or so. I used 4 drops at night. I’ve read a lot of reviews about the smell so if anyone is nervous about the smell I can say mine doesn’t hardly smell AT ALL! I was actually really surprised to see that so many people said it smelled bad because I really don’t smell anything. If I do it’s a very subtle typical lotion / skin care smell. Really excited to see if it works for me as I’m super sensitive to a lot of exfoliating acids and it’s hard to get a brightening affect.

Cassandra, Could you PLEASE make a video about Exfoliative Cheilitis? It's an extreme chapped lip condition. There isn't much research on it and it's a real problem for some of us. It's not just dry, chapped lips, it's lips that peel like a banana on the daily, no matter weather, food, etc. I also don't like to use toxic products on my lips since inevitably I eat the stuff daily by just putting it on my lips (I don't lick them). I trust your expertise and research ability. If you could help, it would be life-changing. Thanks for all your videos sweetheart. You are the best at this!

I actually did notice a difference between Retinol 0,5% and Retinol 1% 0,5 was nice on my skin, made it soft and smoothed some of my textures but did nothing to my pigmentation and I had no irritations with this one. 1% oh dear, my skin peeled like a snake, but it made marvelous job with my acne, I don't break out almost at all, definitely not like before. It balanced my skin, I have combination skin with heavy oily t-zone, but it's not that oily like before, and it helped with my pigmentation, and it's only 2 months of usage. When summer ends I will definitely go for 1% and will do it longer. I love it so deeply.

Is the b oil good for sensitive skin? I don’t have acne but some products break me out. I am wanting to start using the niacinamide serum and the buffet and would like to also add this to my routine, don’t know if any of these products would be good for me, looking for some brightness less dullness and anti ageing

Question: is the rentinol she mentions here compatible with the plant derived hemi squalene? (I use cerave moisturizers and I use paulas choice normalizing cleansers and bha 2% exfoliant toner) I know that sometimes different Ingredients in different products can react badly with eachother . I have acne prone oily skin

I use their marula oil. It worked great for me but since a couple of weeks it's irritating my jaws. I have dry combination skin that's also sensitive so now I'm thinking about switching to the 100% plant-derived sqalane oil. What do you think?

Can I use Granactive Retinoid* 2% Emulsion instead of the Retinol 1% Squalene, both serves the same purpose, right? Also FYI, I have been on Accutane before but first time using oils!

i loooved the hemi squalane even with more dry to combination skin because it stopped my skin from drying out with just the sunscreen (my skin loves a thicc moisturiser), only reason i stopped using it was because i figured i might as well just use my moisturiser underneath instead because it's cheaper but you are really making me want to go back on that decision-

Hi Cassandra! My mom's boyfriend recently started working for a European skincare company that has now launched in the US called Lavylites and pressuring (or reccomending if you ask my mom and him) me to try it, as I've been really into skincare for the past few months. I wanted to get your opinion on it first though, since the first product they wanted me to use was a facial mist with a buttload of essensial oils in it and a very pungent smell. Thanks! Edit: I'm not actually sure if it's cruelty free but I think I remember them saying it was? Edit 2: looked it up, internet says its vegan.

No, wait. On the official Deciem webpage, they've said that retinols can be used within 12 months of opening the bottle.
