dude imagine a boomerang type roller coaster where it brings you to the top of the lift hill but goes backwards into some inversions, then powered back forward by a launch to pass through the first lift hill and then into the rest of the ride
Very well done, probably now the best video at explaining the different kinds of roller coasters.

Hey, idk if you were already told this but 500 footers would not be called polar coasters. Polar coasters are their own thing. Basically a massive El Loco coaster that wraps around a very large tower. They can be any height. A 500 footer coaster by itself would unofficially be known as a terra-coaster.

Hybrid coasters aren't new, they date back to at least 1911, when the Giant Racer at Luna Park Nyc opened. Hope this helps! 😊

Yeah they’ve been around for forever but for some reason we’re never popularized until the 2010s.
Shuttle coasters cannot complete a full circuit either.
