It almost always is. The 450 class has the big names, but the guys are almost too good to allow for much parody. 250 guys get wild, and that leads to fun championships more often than not.

Nah have to disagree for me its Hunter Lawrance lining up right next to Jason Anderson and having Malcome Stewart or Jett Lawrance on the other side of Ando ....... bring the mouth punching fire works on 😂😂😂😂😂😂 won't happen unless it's off the gate Ando dosnt have the speed to run with two of those guys, but Justin Cooper will be the quiet achivet here though sneaky fast outdoors and we didn't get to see that last year due to his deal it might be a series of Rookies and young guys Sexton, Lawrance's and Cooper outside of that with Webb, Tomac, Plesinger and Roczen injured the race is on for 2nd place because none of those injured guys were consistently going to beat Jett

Vialle won the title by 4 points. Lets say Hammaker doesnt ride with a concusssion, wreck thenfoeld and isnt given orders to take out Deegan so McAdoo and Forkner can get a bigger lead. 4 points turns into -30 real fast. Look out in Outdoors Deegan is gonna make Tom look like a rookie again. Add Shimoda and Kitchen in that mix, RJ tends to crash. 250 class has become the field to watch for sure. ( the primary argument for eliminating east/west SX) I do think Joey Savatgy is a threat. Consider that he is really good. Consider that the Triumph ( In my opinion ) has proved that it is on par with the field, look at Swoll's results and starts. Consider that Joey has been riding outdoors and developing the Triumph for almost a year! That thing is dialed! I expect Joey to come out swinging in full send , no prisoners. What a season it will be in the 250 class. 450 will be interesting next year as Prado joins the party, and maybe Vialle will move to 450's

Well Savatgy is on very good bike. I saw a video from Britian where they had 3 riders all ride the new Triumph bike. they ran them up against the riders own bikes. A Honda and a KTM. All of the riders had faster lap times on the Triumph than their own bikes but a couple didn't think it felt as fast but stop watch proved otherwise. kzread.info/dash/bejne/mqGduMmSgrivYJs.html

Kitchen only wins supercross with hole shotes. And the outdoors Deegan caught and passed him twice one for 2nd at Washougal that turned into a win . Then passed him at the 1st playoff round in Carolina... So he sucks at passing is the point and Deegan doesn't. Vialle will be Deegans biggest comp but I still think Deegs kicks ass and wins and has it locked up before the last race....

Deegan is not good at passing. The only races he has ever won he started top 3. He's the most start dependent rider in the field. Kitchen has had issues with confidence, not speed. He looks to have that figured out this year. Also Shimoda is going to be a competitor this year. He finished ahead of danger kid last year and was second to Jett the year before.

Shimoda didn’t kick Deegan’s ass last year. Did you even watch last season? The only reason Shimoda finished above Deegan in points is because his bike blew costing him a lot of points. It took Shimoda till the last round to even win an overall. Deegan had already had two overall wins by then and even held the red plate at one point. Deegan was clearly the better rider in MX last year, but just had some unfortunate luck with his motor blowing costing him towards the end.

    1. Shimoda, 2. Vialle, 3. Deegan Levi and RJ have never shown to be able to put 22 motos together, and let's be honest, Jo has more moto wins than Levi has moto podiums. It'd take a massive jump for me to consider either of them serious threats. I think Deegan needs to have the points lead leaving TV, if he doesn't, I'm not confident he can survive tracks like Southwick and Spring Creek. These first 3 rounds and Washougal+Budds are tracks he needs to take full advantage of if he wants to win. Jo needs better starts, pure and simple. His speed's good early in the season, but he puts himself in bad positions which causes a lot of his early season woes. I think he's the best guy when everything's working, he just needs to get everything working right from the first gate drop at Pala. Vialle's pretty easy, no GP rider has won a MX title in their first 2 years in the class since 1991. He's shown he can put it together to win championships, the question is will he be fully ready this year or will he have to wait until next.

Joey will NOT be a title threat. He is fast yes, anywhere outside the pro AMA and MXGP. Also do not really like the idea of older ex-pros coming in to clog the 250 class which i feel should be more for younger riders. Including people like RJ and all of the long time 250 guys, nothing against them personally i just think it would be better for the sports growth. No 18 year old wants to come in fresh and have to race some 30 year old dude gate keeping their podiums. Until they have an age limit or another class for youths only, say 20 and under, you should be forced into the 450s with the big boys

@@LetBrockBye ah yes, a truly regressive take. Just dont have new talent. I never said anything about the riders liking it or not liking it. In *MY OPINON* (no riders have been surveyed or interviewed) we should have a full time class for young new riders only, before moving them up to race with seasoned riders. not unlike the already existing SX Futures class, but a full calendar, all year. How is that an idea you would argue against? As if forging more talent in a better environment for growth and fair competition, more racing for us to watch overall would be an negative thing somehow?

@@LetBrockBye ahh ok bad wording then my bad i shouldnt have said that "No 18 year old" part. Maybe i messed up the last section, i didnt mean over 20 and you move up to 450, i mean you have a 250 for 20 and under. Then a separate 250 for everyone above that age, so 21+ those guys can stay in for as long as they want. Ideally in my fictional world the under 20 would have no full factory teams, factory support sure, but basically the bikes would be normal with pipes and suspension that anyone could get off the shelf.
