I started young too. 21 yrs old and now 36 yrs later still doing it and enjoy everyday just as much as way back 36 yrs ago Way to go.. safe trucking Kodi

Omg, sis. I’m 44 years old and decided this is my next career move. Age never really stopped me from doing anything before, but in the back of my mind that small voice was saying … “damn you’re old to be starting yet another career.”😆 Still doing it though. Thanks for sharing your comment.

My only regret is that I didn’t do it in my early 20s. Go girl!

There is no age requirement or physical requirement for trucking long as you can sit and drive a truck and do basic physical menial tasks anyone can be a trucker!

Beautiful. There are many beautiful women in the trucking industry. Even my self I started out in 2002 . Still trucking. I applaud all professional women truckers. God be with us all.😊

My son is starting to drive trucks and I was so afraid for him. I'm glad to see videos like this.

Congratulations to you baby girl. We have 4 daughters and a son and they’ve all been trucking with me. We’ll be praying for you, also just always remember to watch your surroundings, we have a lot of haters in our industry. Look into car hauling come and join our car hauling family.

I always wanted to be a truck driver and at age 55 decided to look on KZread to find inspiration! You could probably make money giving women who are looking for a career in trucking a true truck-life experience. Take em' on the road for a few day haul and show them the ropes. Women power! There really is good money to be made and I also feel very peaceful when driving long distances. It is peaceful.

Your Mama is right, we do need more dedicated women to become truck drivers, I spent 42 years chasing that dotted line and met a lot of nice drivers and the Industry could use a lot more driving like Kodi, stay safe young lady.

my dad drove a truck for 17 years. I went with him about 9 times starting with a trip after high school graduation in 1997 and last trip was 2001. I loved it. I miss him driving. saw some women driving trucks. my favorite show was ice road truckers. I loved watching Lisa Kelley on there. she put up with guys saying she didn't need to be driving but she never let it stop her.

This makes me glad to know that there are women of all ages out here in trucking and are killin it better then us men. I have nieces three of which are teens and I hope at least one of them will decide to follow in my footsteps and become a trucker one day. Keep doing ya thing Ms Lady and looking just as good as the money you are making in trucking!

I would be suprised if she was doing fuel, foodservice, or heavy hauling..It's super common now to see women driving trucks at this point... Keep grindin and keep climbing💪🏾💪🏾

@Really Really I've witnessed 3 women doing foodservice in the last since I been driving and that's 15yrs.. I never seen a Female hauling fuel.. I always see female drivers hauling dry vans.

That's so awesome to start so young, and it helps a lot when you know people already in the industry who can answer any delima questions. I used to get those same "you're a driver" questions alot too, as with flirts. But I had absolutely no interest in dating a driver, and never had! But it was nice to see the country as a solo driver, and now I don't have to worry about getting lost... 😊
