This 22' Terra Orginal Series Ekodome is perfect for a backyard studio, cottage, guest house, man cave, she-shed, and more!
Our great community will customize their dome frames, either as a greenhouse, for dwelling purposes, or more. One can install any panel material with a thickness between 4mm-10mm (just for now) on the Ekodome frames. But, here is the greatest thing, you will never need to screw them on the struts.
All of our geodesic dome frames are equipped with TPE SEBS and EPDM seals to be watertight. Still, we also allowed enough space on the aluminum profiles so that you can apply silicone sealant to extra secure water tightness.

insulation ? How is temperature managed during extreme cold and heat in winter and summer ?

Hi Simeon, Ekodome just launched PRO Series to ease the installation of SIP sandwich panels (96mm) with Double Pane glazing (28mm). Passive ventilation, appropriate heating, and the use of transparent panels accordingly is the key. Please check our website Ekodome.com and do not hesitate to send emails.
We shall see what can happen with the 22 ft dome when it gets delivered

How can it be insulated properly?

You can either build an interior frame of wooden laths to support the insulation material or wait for the brackets we will introduce later on.
