Are you ready for an ab workout challenge that is suitable for everyone from beginner to advanced? In this video, I’m going to show you a single ab workout routine that you can do for the next 22 days straight that is going to help to carve up that midsection of yours and give you a jump start on getting your abs to pop year round. There are just 6 exercises in this ab workout, each one hitting the abs from one of their primary functions.
No equipment is required to perform this ab workout routine. Because of this fact, there are no excuses either. You will be able to do this workout for your abs in just minutes and you won’t need any elaborate setup to get it done. It can be done in the comfort of your own home or in the gym if you so choose.
The key to this ab workout plan is that you perform it for 22 days straight. There are two reasons for this time period. First, it gives you an opportunity to start seeing noticeable changes in your abs particularly if you pair this with a dedicated effort to improve your nutrition. You will never be able to see your abs if they are covered in fat. You need to start getting serious about your diet and eating if you want to strip away the fat and show the results of your hard work and effort.
The second reason for doing this for 22 days is to help this become part of your lifestyle. They say it takes 22 days of doing something for it to become a habit. We are going to try and create a positive habit here by getting you used to training your abs. Don’t worry. The abs are a resilient postural muscle group that is built for high volume and frequent training sessions.
The exercises in this ab workout follow a specific sequence. They start with those that target the lower abs using bottom up movements. These are where the top of the body from the waist up stays rather stationary while the bottom does the movement. This can be seen in the heels to the heavens exercise.
Next you perform a bottom up rotation movement. This one is going to be filled by the step through planks. Here you want to try and keep your upper torso still again while you create rotation from the bottom using your legs to step through and across your body. You will be able to feel this burn almost from the first few reps. Keep going until you reach the extinction time as described in the video.
Move on next to the midrange movement known as the “X” man crunch. This is a great way to bring both the top to the bottom and the bottom to the top. Aim for completing the 12 reps that are suggested for extinction on this ab exercise and move onto the final three exercises. These will hit the obliques, top down movements and top down with rotation.
You will see that this is not going to take very long. The benefit and power of this ab workout is that it is hitting the abs and obliques from every angle and in each of the 6 primary ways of hitting them. If you find that this is just a little too tough for you as a beginner you can always check out my alternative workout that is more suitable for beginners here - • 6 Minute Ab Workout (T...

I would drink a protein milk, powder right after each workout, especially for fat, instead of meal, I would remove one meal if you need to lose weight and replace it wit ha protein drink! For a Skinny guy, maybe a chicken, beef, salad meal is even better then a protein milk! Also by not eating just food is I mean on daily bases, eating it once, twice a week is ok if your body is skinny or athletic!

Alright I’m doing this and by the end of the month I will have somewhat of abs!! Day 1: ✔️ Day 2: ✔️ Day 3: ✔️ Day 4: ✔️ Day 5: ✔️ Day 6: ✔️ Day 7: ✔️ So since I’ve done it for a week I thought I’d share my thoughts. I haven’t been really sore but have progressively gotten more tired each day 😬. Hopefully I improve on these exercises but for now I‘m feeling good about being more active! Day 8: ✔️ Day 9: ✔️ Day 10: ✔️ Day 11: ✔️ Halfwayyyyy Day 12: ✔️ Day 13: ✔️ Day 14: ✔️ So for the second week, I can see that a lot of my stomach fat has gone away and I’ve been making some progress on the workouts. Day 15: ✔️ Day 16: ✔️ Day 17: ✔️ Day 18: ✔️ Day 19: ✔️ Day 20: ✔️ Day 21: ✔️ Day 22: ✔️ Ahhh I’m done!! Before doing this workout, I was pretty bloated but still skinny. I lost an inch around my stomach and it’s definitely more toned too. I would recommend this to beginners as it is more friendly than other challenges. It’s also helped me mentally in the way that now I feel odd and lazy if I don’t do a daily workout which is always a good mentality to have! I’m really proud of myself that I did this and I’m doing the Chloe Ting one next so wish me luck! 😂

My take: Def got stronger over the course of the past 22(+3) days. Though the number of sets I could complete didn't increase drastically, they don't account for my improved control and form over each movement. Since I did this in conjunction w/ the r/bodyweightfitness RR though, I was pretty gassed by the end of the workout and couldn't progress as much. Maybe doing this workout every other day is more effective, especially when compounded with additional forms of exercise. I don't really know what I'm going to do from here-I may keep going with this, or revert back to the RR core triplet. Afaik, this is NOT the end, only the beginning.

Honest review I was at low fat percentage I practiced it for 22 days without Skipping any day .. my experience is that my core strength increased a lot .. able to reach new level to my discipline towards fitness ... Got into a little shape but no major difference in visibility of abs .. but i would definitely recommend others to practice this as it can bring alot of changes to you physically and mentally ... In order to get abs you need to burn full body fat percentage ... I am writing down my detailed experience of each and everyday must check out Day1- 🤘 ( could not get the correct posture) Day2- 🤘 (can do 2 rounds of all exercises ) Day3- 🤘 ( better posture except last 2 exercises) Day4-🤘 ( cramp and pain while performing) Day5-🤘 ( 3 rounds ,less pain better posture) Day 6-🤘 ( core strength increased) Day 7-🤘 ( difficulty in last 2 exercises) Day 8 - 🤘( 3rd round of jackknifes difficult) Day9- 🤘 ( better posture) Day 10- 🤘 ( increased strength ) Day 11🤘( increased rounds to 4 ) Day 12- 🤘( 4 rounds bit hard) Day 13🤘( improved posture ) Day 14-🤘( decreased rest time ) Day15- 🤘( increased strength) Day16- 🤘(really tired today) Day- 17 -🤘( increased strength) Day18- 🤘 ( exercises became easier) Day-19 🤘( core tight) Day20-🤘( tired) Day21-🤘(strength increased) Day22- 🤘( core strength increased alot)

I am recovering from a modest but long term shoulder injuring. I am working with a physical therapist to make my recovery as efficient as possible. I have been watching your videos for a month and I am inspired by the science behind your advice as well as the results you have been able to achieve. I hope you continue to post content. I am going to start the 22 day an workout and then start the 22-day bicep workouts next week. Once I am able to fully commit to these, I am going to modify my workouts to included the dead lifts and focus on proper form for my squats. Thank you for what you are doing to affect the lives of others.

Yes, you do see results if you had abs already you probably gonna get'em bigger and more toned if you don't have abs I guess you probably gonna get ride of that belly and achieve harder cores.

Started this a day before Day 1 - completed ( abs are paining) Day 2 - completed ( abs hurts but still feels gud i like the pain) Day 3- completed ( no change , i feel the pain and i feel like my abs r getting stronger can'nt see any packs) Day 4- now i dont feel the pain any more ( may be adapted with it) abs r not visible still i feel like my abs r getting stronger Day 5 - completed , no pain , cant see abs but still feel like getting stronger my back pain while doing exercise( iam doing the exercise by lying on the floor) Day 6- completed , body is too exhausted tday and am too tired any way completed it . Still no abs Day 7 - completed. Finnaly i can see somthing forming ..i think its a baby pack need a extra lighting to see it Day 8 - completed , yes yes i can see baby abs but layers of fat above tht if there is gud lighting i can see it, i cnt stop posing infrnt of mirror shirtless now Day 9- completed , today i went to clothing store i entered to trial room to try some clothes , the lighting prsent in the trial room were amazing so i could see my baby abs prfctly if i hold my strength. Too damn happy!! Day 10- completed , same result Day 11 - completed , too sleepy and tired but completed same results Day 12- completed. Same rslt Day 13- completed. Same Day 14 -completed .same Day 15-completed . Result same but after i strted doing these wrkouts now i can sleep better Day 16- completed, today i worked out during midnight and am too tired and exhusted . Day 17- same Day 18-same Day 19- now I can see my abs when I hold my strength but still there is layers of fat above that. But still happy (now I don't need a super lightning to see my abs. I can see it in a gud lighting Day 20- completed. Same rslt. Got this!! Day 21 - completed .yes one more day to go Day 22 - Yes Yes Yes i did it!!! *Day 23- i shaved my abs tday. Now i can see the abs better. I can go shirtless now eventhough my abs r not prfect its somewhat good! If u have a huge belly by doing exercise u can remove some belly fat i dont think u wll get a abs by doing this just for 22 days , ( u can continue doing this to get abs). Iam happy with my result i can see my abs but still there is layers of fat avove it eventhough i can see the abs. *

Hate to say it mate, but no chance you’ll get abs in 22 days if you eat more than 1000 calories a day, depending on your initial body weight. Abs are most definitely made in the kitchen, they’re a tiny muscle group so working them for just over three weeks won’t make the blindest bit of difference if there’s a layer of fat over them.

Do not understand, why dislike. Motivation is one that keeps one trying, many people stay on their comfort zone, but if you have the will to do it, this is one of the best abdominal exercise yet. You start with your own pacing. Some people just do not appreciate it most probably right on even when they are just beginners, they wish they can do better than the coach. Keep on, sir!!

I broke my R fibula / ankle in Nov. 2022. My leg is wobbly to begin w/ because of MS - though I'm 65 YO female, working out, athletic x 45+ years. My goal is to strengthen my core / abs so that I can stablize the weak leg a tad. I'm so blessed, I use a cane, now cuz of the fracture. It occurred to me that I fell because I was not stable as I was just walking down the sidewalk on a beautiful day - my R leg gave way and slipped into the landscape section and I twisted - boom. I knew I fractured it - swelled up like a balloon. Anyway, no surgery per the orthopod - praise God! Today, I'm going back to the gym to ease my way back into strengthening my core and my mobility, in general. Thank you, Coach Cavaliere. In 2020 I subscribed to the 90 Day level one workout - it was the men's but I adapted it. It was great. My 55+ neighbors thought I was a phenom for working out in the garage - the gym was closed. I was feeling and looking so fine - to this day, even w/ the leg issue. Jesse, you rock, too!

Day 22 done, if you say that you don't have time save that crap for yourself The one commodity that is most valuable on this earth is time. How many seconds, how many minutes, do we waste everyday doing things that are nowhere near the goals and aspirations and passions that we have inside. How many times you go through the course of the day and realize, did i do anything i set out to do today? write down these goals each and every day no matter if there is two goals a day, if you can accomplish those then you're doing more than just making it through the day, your .are living and achieving your dreams.

i started this challenge 11 days ago. and i realized a difference on 8th day. i was already athletic and had low-ish body fat, but i got surprised at how fast the progress came. day 11 and you can see an outline of a six pack, if i flex its pretty much noticeable
