How many motorcycle models have came out where every single generation is still loved pretty much equally to the newer gens? The hayabusa is not only a unique bike and a true work of art, but its also super fast, super fun, super PLANTED, and so easily customizable.... its a staple.... Here's to another 24 years!

Me too! Digital gauges to me feel disconnected from the experience. One reason I got the new 'Busa was because of the analog gauges. I was aiming for the '21 ZX-10R but found it ugly from every angle compared to my '06 ZX-10R, plus it had a full TFT display to boot. Looks very nice, but I like at the least an analog tach.

The best thing about new busa is how agile it is. I commute with it daily in the city. The acceleration is very linear and easy to control. Comfortable to ride. Perfect bike to commute while having fun.
Brought a 2023 busa, grey/red 3 days ago, like you I have a bmw 1250 gas and also a goldwing. Busa Greta fun bike took it out for 4 hr ride , went down some dirt roads, handled that very easily, have ordered radiator guard, headlight protector, cane with the yoshimura single exhaust, will get a Moore mafia tune, velocity stacks, air filter. All restrictions taken off, then it will be fun to ride
Honestly the most realistic review of a hayabusa I ever seen.
Love my 2022 busa! So much I don't ride my GSXR anymore 😢. Cruise control is a game changer for long rides!
Great adult review. Nice to see someone ride a new Busa and actually ride it instead of beat on it. I like that you tested the brake and clutch engagement before you left the lot as well. That Suzuki quickshifter sounds amazingly smooth. The Busa is a bike that makes so much power, it never strains and many, that are lucky enough to land with owners who respect that and maintain them correctly last alot of miles trouble-free. I am more a fan of the FJR because of its shaft drive but I hear it can be really hot to ride, something the Busa has never been pegged with. But FJR's with a lot of miles are really common too.
Quite possibly the best sport-tour bike ever conceived and executed . . .

@@monkmoto1887 Agree, I have a 2022 ZX14R and a 2022 Busa and the ZX14r has more power and comfort. I am looking into getting a quick shifter for my ZX14 after loving it on my Busa. Styling and Tech Busa wins but comfort and performance is the ZX14r. You can feel the difference between the two in the 1st and 2nd gears. There are some aftermarket foot pegs for the busa that will lower foot position by and inch. If your wondering why I bought both, I was in the market for an H2R but decided I would rather have two sportbikes than one.

First time I gave my '22 Hayabusa the full beans, which was a month after I bought it, I couldn't believe such a heavy, gentlemanly bike could accelerate that fast. 😮 It's so well-behaved and can be ridden like a scooter, never giving an indication of being able to feel like it hits warp speed. I now call it a MARSHMALLOW MISSILE. 😏 That describes it perfectly, just like baby whale with a rocket. It's such a different feeling from a modern literbike even if it's not as fast.

Have you ridden 2nd Gen Busa? It accelerates much faster than 3rd gen. Just like any other newer bikes they put more electronics but it’s not any faster or better. It’s just newer. 2nd Gen Busa I had more control over and felt much closer connected with it instead of driving 3rd gen when I felt electronics are getting in my way controlling my experience instead of letting me tell the bike what to do.
I have a 2020 picked it up in May of 2021 with 1mile on it. This year I took it on a 9000 mile ride around the country. I was always comfortable. My longest day was 600 miles.
I have a 2022. You're spot on about the ergonomics. At 6' tucking behind the windshield is a lil bit difficult. Very nimble on the road. I compare moving it around in garage like moving a rhino around in an elevator. 1st oil change and alien head upgrade took 2 days...
Love the reviews glad your branching out Greg
Just got the 2023 in Metallic/ Crimson. Awesome bike! The Yoshimura AT2 full exhaust makes it sound like a formula one car when getting on it on the highway. Love the quick shifter!
So great to see you review the new Busa. I own one, but was curious to see your review on it. It’s the perfect highway machine for me. Just a side note, TC level 2 is even smoother when riding around town, & you can disengage the cruise control just by rolling the throttle forward. 👍🏼🇦🇺👍🏼

This. I have an engine mode on mine for city, PW2 and also EB2, the reduced engine braking really makes a difference for smoothness in traffic.
I would love more videos on this bike as you get it broken in, like engine brake settings (pros and cons) simply all the different settings for those who are getting used to riding a new Busa. I love mine thus far, but there’s limited dealer answers as I felt rushed out the door. Probably won’t buy from them if I live long enough to upgrade lol.
The Gen iii seems really nice... stealthy... but there's something dangerously RAW about my Gen ii I can never part with it ...especially after the RCC Turbo install.
Fantastic review of a great bike. I did 6k kms on mine since May 22. I echo your words, when it comes to stock bike, but found that bar risers (Helibars or MotoCNC) make a world of difference. Some also put on drop pegs but I don't need them at 5 foot 8. Bar risers and double bubble windshield transfor this bike into an all day comfortable sports tourer, that has excess power and ability everywhere. Love the bike, can't wait for winter to end.

Or, instead of tapping the brakes to disengage cruise control, just twist the throttle forward and it will disengage. It's designed this way due to the cruise deactivation switch down near the throttle bodies. Also, to activate launch control...While fully stopped, with the engine running, hold down the starter button and it will activate, then tap said starter button to cycle between the 3 preset desired launch rpm levels "4, 6 & 8k. If u don't use it within a few seconds of activating it, it will time out and the tft dash display will go back to default where u had it prior to selecting launch control.
Does the cruise control work at elevated speeds, 110mph for example? Would be nice when crossing Wyoming west to east. Some car cruise controls don't work above certain speeds.
The CBR 1100xx has been my favorite bike. I haven't ridden the newer busas but the blackbird is such a well made machine..so smooth and of course very quick. It's not AS FAST as the modern 1+ liter sport bikes (although they run a 10 sec 1/4) but they are so smooth and even comfortable. you seem like a really good rider. can't wait to get a hayabusa
That's an awesome video dude. as I am 6.4 ft sport bikes are not at my size i tried GSXR and s1000rr but found them so small for me, would the Huyabuza be better fit ? or should I stick with my XR?

XR is way more comfortable
Learning class today: "Cruise control is awesome" 👍
Could you provide details, from which dealer you brought this beast?
My dream bike. Tryna get one after riding for a while longer
"The bike can, you cant" gets me every time 😂😂😂
Now THAT'S the colour scheme! Is it a custom job on the trims or is it factory?
The beast!! Love it
Do you recommend that bike for a first time bike rider?
Dont know if you'll read this 3 months later, but I'll ask anyways. I just started riding. I have a duke 390 and just over 100 miles on the road. Assuming I'm generally responsible while riding and I practice motojistu drills regularly while learning, how many miles on the road would you personally think is a sufficient amount for me to be able to safely move from a duke390 to a 3rd gen Busa. Just a general ball park is all im lookin for, like 2000+ miles or something like that. Would love too hear your thoughts!
Honest review, thanks Jitsu
Haha, sounds like you've bought 5 bikes from every dealer in San Diego. They must love you ;-) Keep up these videos, they are really interesting.
4:50 its the right lever position for when you're racing with your head down. you're welcome
