The 2022 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum is a More Capable & Much Improved Family Hauler

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

As one of Nissan’s oldest models, the best-selling #NissanPathfinder gets a much needed redesign for 2022. #Nissan has dumped the old JATCO CVT and replaced it with a new ZF-sourced 9AT, while the venerable 3.5L VQ V6 remains the sole powertrain. Inside, the new #PathfinderPlatinum has a enough luxury and tech to shame Nissan’s luxury division, Infiniti. The 2022 #Pathfinder is heading to dealers now with a lot of features packed into a very reasonable price.

Just bought my 2022 Pathfinder Platinum last week and I love it. Great value and technology. I really like the towing package and capacity. Interior is great as well. You have a point though about towing, if you are towing anything they are not ideal. I think the tow rating for the Forester is 1500lbs. They should be able to offer a traditional automatic for enthusiasts, especially since Toyota owns such a big part of them now.

Nissan did a great job with this design. I love it. I loved my 2011 Pathfinder before they turned it into the Mommy-Mobile. That thing was a tank. No matter what the weather was like, I had absolutely no fear. I do fail to understand why Nissan is sooo resistant to add some more punch in their engines. I'm not expecting to take this onto the track but damnit I want to feel very confident that I have the power to keep up and pass on the highways of America. Great review. 👍

What were they thinking with that horn, same with the new Rogue. This engine actually sounds much more refined now with this transmission, I’m wondering if there’s even more sound deadening also compared with last year. Overall a great job by Nissan, I think they may just make a comeback!

I looked at the; Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander, Telluride, Palisade and VW Atlas. I prefered the Japanese igenuity and styling over the South Korean models. The new version of the Pathfinder comes with the panoramic sun roof is a very nice feature and seats 8 passengers comfortably. New 2nd gen. transmission 9 speed (No CVT), naturally aspirated V6 wwith 284hp with 0-60 at 6.7 seconds. Towing package included with capacity of 6000 pds. Off road with 4wd it is perfect for my needs and handles well. Great new styling and I love the 20" aluminum wheels. . . The pricing was better than all models I looked at!

Also, does the Platinum Edition include power steering wheel adjustment which works in conjunction with the Memory seat buttons with auto exit and entry . Does the Remote Start control the climate control systems : turn on the heated steering wheel when it's cold, turn on the rear Defroster when it's cold, and turn on the Heated seats ; conversely does the Remote start do the same with the ventilated (cooled) front seats automatically.

Regardless of what they say, a hybrid is coming. Possibly a turbo 4 too. That's why they kept the current VQ engine to start. Get the transmission settled, then start adding new power trains to the mix. Personally, I think Nissan makes the best V6s ever! I love my VQ.

My only gripes are its not rwd bias, no liftgate glass opening, I don't understand why manufacturers ran away from that. Such a useful feature especially if it's the power down option like the Toyota 4runner and Sequoia have. Finally Nissan quality or longevity is in question. Only time will tell if these new redesigned vehicles hold up.
