The 2021 Baltimore Tow Show! So many broken trucks!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Some footage from my walk around the American Towman Exposition tow show in Baltimore Maryland. The show had everything from light duty tow trucks and rollbacks, to the largest 100 ton rotator on the market. In addition to all the trucks, there was a ton of other accessories including my personal favorite, the new Collins G7 50th anniversary dollies that I have been testing for the last year and a half. I have just over 18,000 miles on the new version with no problems at all, and I absolutely love them. Collins also had their Carrier Dolly system on display. The Carrier Dolly allows easy loading of lucked up cars, cars with damaged drivetrains, lowered cars, and doubles as a motorcycle dolly so that you don't have to carry multiple pieces of equipment. You can check them out at collinsmfgcorp.com

There was no such thing as to much free time in this video! Loved the comments roasting the broken wreckers. Time to lean=time to clean, oldie but a goodie! And she was completely caught of guard. 🤣🤣
Nice trucks, I was a H D tow driver in 70's & 80's. When the HOLMES 750 & 850 were still the big wreckers, man they sure have improved !! Great Video. Thanks
You have a back up career path as a stand up comic, funny stuff! Thanks for video!

The irony of having a towing convention in a state that doesn't have anyone capable of driving in any snowy conditions.

What do you mean? Baltimore gets snow every winter.

I lived 30 miles south of Baltimore for 12 years, in Columbia, MD. From my experience, you are not wrong. However, rain can be even worse. For an area that gets lots of heavy thundershowers, that's not good. My craziest memory of driving in Maryland is driving home from work through a thunderstorm, with lightning strikes coming down on both sides of the road.
The Historic Ships in Baltimore shown at the beginning of this video are worth touring. 1 ticket gives you access to all 5 vessels. Highly recommend checking out the submarine USS Torsk and the coast guard cutter to all the gear heads out there.
Thanks Casey, a nice entertaining way to start the day.
this commentary is golden over and over again.
Had no idea Miller had 100t now. Last I knew the big boy was 80t. Pretty freaking cool. The harbor footage was 👍🏻.

Very amusing . . . the dog guy is going to go far. Cheers.
That one with the boom out the front: That is for towing himself.
My home state, Casey. Don't go out in B'more after dark. They should have taken you to the Rusty Scupper.
JOHN BOY GOES TO THE CITY!
Thanks Casey, I could walk around all day looking at all those "Taters" in that show. That 100 ton job looks like a beast.
Great commentary, love the smartass humor .. wish you did a full walk around of all the rigs like that...lol... That Red Twin steer M100 ton, is coming home to Minnesota for a local company, It's not as "dressed up" as it will be, but it was just built & there wasn't time to finish it before getting it to the show out east. I'm anxious to see it in action in the future. I've been using those Collins Carrier Dollies for over a year, they work well. Very good quality. Looks like they needed to practice knowing how to set them up & how to explain the multiple uses lol. I have some ideas for them to make them better, but I wasn't at the show... lol... Thanks for taking us along... looking forward to more content. Stay Safe :)

Enjoyed the humour. All those broken down trucks were American.
Lots of really cool HUGE tow trucks! Just the paint on one of those is more than I could afford!! LOL!!
Such an interesting place , I could spend Hours exploring . To bad you couldn't spend more time looking at each truck . Thank You for what you did show
I got quite a few chuckles from this. thank you
I’ve been to too many trade shows, but none that seem as cool as that one.

I seriously laughed at all your comments on the broken trucks, tire changing kids and bent roll back 😂😂😂
You missed our booth! Next time come and say hi to me at HAAS Alert.
Another great Video,Redmond Airport has grown, looked like a great show in Baltimore
That's some great commentary! Jamie Davis is coming for his colors. lol
God bless you and your family and crews for all that you all do of savings life
That's awesome that you went to the Baltimore tow show as it's like 30 minutes up the road from me. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go this year but it would have been cool to meet you.
Casey, Baltimore’s my old hometown! If you come back, let my show you around. My father-in-law help build the Convention Center! I live about and hour and a half away now in western Maryland. The running commentary was priceless. All that and a Rottweiler raising repo man! 🤣😂
Thanks for " Taking us along for the ride". .....Am I on the wrong channel? I enjoyed the video
didnt know a show existed for towing, while I dont tow anything right now, for many years in late 1980's to mid 1990's I drove many wreckers, rollbacks, tow trucks. still own 3 vintage booms, 1 probably from the 1920's it had option to hand crank, plus electric, which was missing when I got it. I was offered a mechanic job just over a week ago, and asked if I could drive tow truck, plus do state inspections, I havent said yes yet, still thinking, but my license for inspections expired in late 1990's, & I never been licensed to drive a wrecker, it wasnt needed when I drove, but now it is. my favorite work was crash recovery, using a split boom, that was old school, so you used 1 winch with 1 boom to hold truck, and second boom to pull vehicle, & if have a wheel lift, it was lifted by cable, & if used tow boom, we had to put blocks under car frame to avoid damage to plastic bumpers, & when I was told I had to go modern, I changed jobs, and never drove again, I still do not want to drive a rollback, other than rarely, I still dont care for wheel lift tow trucks, I love a manual operated wrecker with chain drive PTO. lol...

in the 70's and before towing was'nt an enjoyable experience tow operators were required to remove bodys from wrecks
Awesome show.
Always nice when you see your friends trucks on video haha
I had to watch a utube channel from the opposite side of the country to see an event that took place less than 10 miles from my house, that I didn't even know I was interested in! Well.... the good thing is that I didn't have to find a place to park.
great tour, thanks
A serious explanation off some off that equipment would have been great don't see that in Australia next time please slow down
Excellent video
As a subscriber from the dc Baltimore area can’t help be be excited seeing footage that I know where it was shot at. I should have gotten stuck this weekend so I could have called you and those collins Dollies to get me out!
My fathers favorite quote “ if you have time to lean you have time to clean”. He owned a fine men’s clothing store, and I worked there until I left for college.

I hate that expression. You can bust ass for hours and then take 30 seconds for a breather. For those hours there is never a manager in sight, the minute you take “a lean” the manager or owner pops in.
Great video as allows
Love the Jamie Davies comment 😅 I'm from British Columbia Canada and find that great! Also love this channel it may be my new favorite one, keep it going man!!
Repo and puppies? Amazing combo
Ha! I chuckled when you mentioned Jamie Davis! I love the show. Watch it all the time. It's Canadian! So it's good to know that it reaches the U.S. as well. So I'm assuming that Heavy Rescue 401 does as well?

looks like a lot of fun, Thought you be picking up your new rig there.......haha I would say not really for the deep woods like you do...
So much hardware so little cash.
Loads of cool gadgets 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Good video
Sheesh -- this washed up on my feed just today - Been to that show many times. Just a few hours up the road. But that cheesecake factory has been a favorite for a long time - I lost interest after seeing kitchen staff drop something on the floor, put it straight back on the plate and deliver....I did kicked out for following them to the table....Haven't been to one of those since...
Well I’m surprised to see where I was born on this channel.. there’s a lot of cool stuff and places to see there in that area..
Lots of swingers at that show
Every impound yard needs a couple of puppies! lol
Nice rigs
And I always thought my brother was the biggest smart ass I knew until i watched your video.
I wish I could buy a set. I called collins and they said they are not for sale yet. Also NO info on the website!!!!

I would love to go to a tow show. Hay you can make alot of money at that show withe the breakdowns lol.

A TRUE COMEDIAN
US$4K for Rottweiler pups!? Wow, I thought we paid through the nose for puppy dogs, but that is insane. The most you'd have to pay for Rottweiler puppies in NZ is NZ$2K. That's about one third of what your man was quoting. More to the point and back on topic, how much would those big rotators cost? I would not be surprised if a 100 ton rotator tow truck cost more than a million dollars!
@paulriversred738

And do you realize how long it would take you to make money back off an investment of that size?.... wow...and im not talking about the puppies lol even tho that's a bit steep as well lol
Damn man I literally only live 45 minutes away from the convention center I was going to go Saturday but decided not to wish I would have now
Did you get the old chev wrecker or did you order a new for say a old inter red cabover or a peterbilt cabover 😉😄
Boys and their toys...
Damn, you went? I was all set to go, but I had things come up.
First ten seconds I was thinking, "Geez, that carpet has worn in a weird way..."
So where you buying or just looking. I helped out at a London UK construction show once. The company I worked for had the only working bottom dump concrete mixer the manufacturer made, their demonstrator went sick so they asked my boss if he had a spare operator. I had an hours tuition took a train to London and spent a week demonstrating. But boy do people ask dumb questions on those stands, trouble is you have to answer them a 1000 times a day. It's easier just to mix concrete.
Walked around Baltimore for 15 minutes? I’m surprised you didn’t hear gunshots !
Commentary is halarious. Next years show they might get all working Riggs
What are those tiny wheels that are by the boom of the wreckers for?
Inner (old) Baltimore Harbor was a great place for a tourist. Some great food, tour of the Constellation, harbor cruise, and caught an unplanned concert at their pavilion.
The Footage Was Great No Fantastic
