I got a red with black top 2020 gt non turbo... I had a 2018 black Inn at first I didn't like the new car once I started driving it and looking at it at night it looks a lot like the Range Rover extra pep in the engine and the 2020 was immediately noticed I love it I also like the 18-inch wheels and they're really nice Chrome wheels which are also red and black also once I started looking at it some of the lines in the new one the detail I really like it now

I like the style of the headlights!

I'm a 34 year old man 6 feet tall and i love this car. Very comfortable, great gas mileage and plenty of room in the back for children and more!! Gets you where you need go✌👍

I’m down with the 2020 Kia Soul TURBO GT, front end reminds me of Star Wars Storm Trooper and the new Range Rover

I bought one last year Kia GT line 2.0 and I'm having engine problem 😡 it shut off it's been in a shop four times

Very good review, watched 4 other reviews of this GT-Turbo model with no explanation of the LED Headlight/LED Foglight system. Actually more details period!…Thank you!

Great review👍, i like the Kia Soul GT it just need ventilation for the front seats as a standard feature.

I really appreciate this review ESPECIALLY (1) with respect to the car’s performance with passengers on board. I think this is especially important where weight, in human form, is added to these smaller, sometimes under powered cars, which can definitely affect the driveability.

I was glad to get it. First time in one! It was noticeable but not bad. The transmission was a little jerky when not giving much throttle but when you out pedal down it was pretty quick to respond too without bad lag

I want to test drive one!

Big advantage that's seldom noted about the placement of the headlights in the Soul GT-Line. I live in the Pacific Northwest where the spring thaw in the mountains brings tons of rocks and gravel down from the mountains. That means every vehicle on a highway is vulnerable to projectiles from vehicles ahead, especially large trucks. It's bad enough to replace a windshield every couple of years. Putting the headlights just above the front bumper as they are on several versions of the Soul makes the problem even worse. The GT-Line Soul (as well as the Telluride and several other KIA models) places the headlights high on the front fender. A much better design. One negative for some on the GT-Line is the center placement of the dual tailpipes. Look cool but they interfere with the addition of a typical trailer hitch. A trailer hitch? Yeah, nobody's going to be seriously towing with a Soul but a hitch mounted bike rack is a definite possibility.

Absolutely a great point about the headlights. I wish they’d keep them up there on all models. I didn’t even think about that tailpipe placement but that’s crazy they’d do that. I’m sure a lot of people will look in to getting a hitch bike rack but can’t ha...bummer!

Enjoyed the review. Nice overview of all of the features. The Soul EX is on my short list for my next car with many of the same extras as the Turbo. It's quite a bit cheaper, and for some unknown reason, gets slightly better mpg than the other 2.0 Souls, based on EPA figures. Why does the EX have "eco dynamics" but not the other 2.0 Souls?

Good question! Personally I’d go with the Soul for its extra space overall. The veloster ultimate is pretty fun though, definitely handles better

Being a turbo-4 engine, do you have to use premium gas in it or can you use regular unleaded?

It’s still just regular unleaded ...manual says 87 or higher 👍

Nice, just tighten up that handling a bit.

It's amazing how versatile this little car is. Even thoiugh the first gen came with a lot of errors, I can easily see why it's beat out it's competition.

The kia soul just needs all wheel drive it would be perfect

It looks great, but I have heard very bad things about koa souls. I have heard of some catching on fire.

I'm not a fan of the smart assist features. Put the cell phone away and drive!!

That would be great. Everywhere I go I see phones out...stupid. Today I saw someone with 1 leg bent up in front of the steering wheel so there would be no reaction time and she’d get absolutely squished if she got into an accident...then to top it off she was on her phone

Why all the measurements in INCHES? All cars are now metric, even American cars. Get with the rest of the world and use metric, please.

Robert Evans if you look at any manufacturers website for the USA...it’s all inches, cubic feet, MPG. don’t get mad at me for not using metric when there’s not metric anything where I live. FYI I listed the Liters and L/100km for cargo space and powertrain efficiency, which idk how many other American videos do...none that I know of.

The bore x stroke and oil capacity is metric....but who talks about that and nut size in an overview video? You’ll see everything else is gallons, inches, feet etc. blame Kia for this and contact the us government if you want it to change to metric. Out of my control. There’s always that information and conversion charts out there...use one. The information you’re seeking isn’t all that relevant to someone searching for a Kia Soul review anyway
