Good comprehensive review.

really good review, the GT Turbo might as well be my next car at the moment I have a 2021 Kia Soul EX and i love it! Has most of the amenities the turbo has less the DCT and 1.6 turbo engine, plus a few other safety features the Harmon Karmon sound system and a few others. i just didnt have the 5k additional dollars to purchase this model at the time. I dont know what 2022 will bring but i hope they keep the Soul around for ever. UPDATE Finally got myself the 2022 KIA Soul Turbo in Cherry Black I love how this engine delivers the power and I’m good with the DCT. Anyone would be if they understand how a manuel transmission work. It has to be capable of handling that much power and torque. Just got it Nov 2 2021. Their hard to find during this age of silicon chip shortages. Now for another road trip from St Petersburg FL to Atlanta.. Love Love Love this car and the full suite of safety features the 10 year 100,000 mile power train warranty and the 5 year 60K bumper to bumper warranty also. It gives added confidence . The Harmon Kardon 10 speaker sound system with 640 watts kicking it while cruising down the highway and 10 way adjustable power drivers seat.make the miles pass by faster.

I have the 2020 elantra sport, which is a fun car ,,plus I dropped eicbach pro kit springs and it’s lowered an inch and it rides nice,, it has the same engine as the kia soul gt,,and i I always wondered why at times the car had no power or just didn’t want to move,, lol so i will probably will wait until after the car is warmed up,,cause it only happens when I first start driving.👍👍

Which is better in terms of durability and sound insulation, Kia Soul or Kia Forte

This is a hatchback, or a wagon if according to insurance companies. I have the LX model with the 6 speed, and it handles too well and too fun to drive to even be a "cuv/suv/crossover"

Would it be better if they added an all wheel drive option such as the AWD lock like the Kona and seltos ?

A good set of snow tires is better than AWD with all seasons anyway. All AWD does is add complexity and reduces fuel economy.

@ 4:55 combined MPG should read 30, not 20.

I do like this little box on wheels, but the combined average mileage of 29 is not all that impressive. Great review!

36 mpg average w/ 6 speed manual. All calculated after filling up at the pump

I feel like calling it an "suv" or "cuv" is an insult to this gorgeous hatchback. Anyways I had mine for 2 months already put 3k miles on it. 6 speed manual and averages at 36 mpgs all calcuted after filling up at the fuel pump

Flat bottom steering wheel for easy entry/exit

See how the cvt holds. Up and dual clutch. At least you have a choice. Kia has come a long way. A new car with transmission bugs 🐛 already. It’s a southern car

I don't know of any car that you cant see over the hood so I don't know why you're telling us you can see over the hood?

There are many cars where its difficult to see past the front hood due to the sitting position, size of the windshield and height of the hood.

Not even my favorite color combination of red and black can save this car.

I try , and very fast

I may get some flak for this but honestly I find it ugly I don't own one so don't know how it drives For its price maybe good But looks are a no go especially from rear
