I raced a zr1 today with my RSV4 on a nice curvy road. Usually people with nice cars can't drive at all and they just dissapear behind me. But damn this dude could drive and DAMN that car is fast! I was pushing myself and the bike harder than I will ever do on a public road again and was barely keeping up with him. When he stopped I found out he was a race driver, which explains a lot... But still. That car is insane!

ibeloggik I have a Cadillac SRX and it has something similar. I guess it is a GM thing but I wish he wouldn’t bring stuff like that up. I actually use mine for stashing things. I never knew my car had a stash box till I accidentally touched the “sweet spot”.

I have a 2019 Corvette Grand Sport and just ordered the new C8. I went to Corvettes at Carlisle and I was impressed with the 2020 Corvettes. Wish they would let people test drive them.

Are you going to be at Corvettes of Carlisle this year? I’m about 30 minutes away and I plan to go this year. I love the C7 and C8 but I think the 8 is growing on me but the C7 is still my fav front engine Corvette. I think I’m going to try and get the 2023-2025 models with the most power like the C8 ZR1 or the new top tier model half electric and half gas coming late 2024

There are 2 kinds of people who clap when the plane lands. Those who have anxiety about flying despite it being far safer than driving, and those who enjoy flying and appreciate the skill of the pilot to land the plane in a very skilled and buttery smooth fashion. The former being the most annoying of the two, but the latter is also annoying in the sense that the pilots can't hear you while in the cockpit (just telling them "nice landing" as you exit the plane is a much better way to show appreciation).

Luka Yonny nope. Bay started filming in late 2016 (and the england scenes were the first few) They used a 2016/2017 model with a bodykit, then chevy said okay we make a stock camaro with that front end

This is my favourite car, I’ll buy it one day,the 2019 one specifically.

Doug is the type of guy who would review my Santa Maria Style BBQ Grill because I don't have a cool car for him to review, but I would sure make him a carne asada on my grill (then he'll give the grill a Doug score and perhaps my cooking will get a Doug score as well).

That engine sound is awesome.

That is the ultimate Vette before the C8. A couple of mentions: the compartment behind the info screen can be locked by entering a pin allowing you to store valuables. Also, many functions including radio station changes, bluetooth, and navigation can be voice operated while driving with a push of a button on the steering wheel. If you arent sure if it's a ZR, look for the clear taillights as it blows by you.

The ZR1 is the ultimate American supercar with power and price that the German and italian are scared of

I'd say they'd be scared except the ride comfort is far apart. Ride in a Z07 and then follow it up with a ride in a Porsche GT3. Night and day difference in the comfort of the ride. The Vette is a beast on a track but it also beats the hell out of you, unlike the German and Italian cars.

It also has an interior that should be in a car 1/4 of the price. At least when you're sitting in a Porsche, Audi, or Mercedes you KNOW you're in something over 100k.

Clay Ford You know your sitting in over 100k when you’re in the corvette too , 911 turbo s interior is like base 911 ,no difference . The zr1 has carbon fiber everywhere and nice competition seats with beefy steering wheel and leather everywhere . It looks good for the price .

In looking for a 2019 ZR1 convertible in Red. And just for the record, a removable top is nothing close to a real convertible. Love your videos and the content. I'm glad I got to see you drive this. I don't agree with your "Doug Score" but we are all entitled to our opinions. I may agree with some of the comments on interior with the plastics but that's about it. Over all this is my favorite car in the entire world. 🌍

I've soured on this guy. Love car vids so I come back every now and then. Re sour and bail for a month or so after each one.

$140k is honestly a very reasonable price considering the fact that it's out performing most $300k+ supercars. I think GM did a spectacular job on this car.

pontiacGXPfan Good point the spark, Cruze and Aveo are not necessary. They need to bring back the Monte Carlo and the impala. Ford needs to get rid of the focus, escape and edge and bring back the crown Victoria and thunderbird. Honestly American companies can do simple things and have our cars relevant in the world scene once again. I’d still rather drive an abused corvette than a BMW or Mercedes

Visibility is actually great! I own the same car and there’s no problem with visibility, it’s a beautiful view, and the front carbon fiber splitter is not as low as he’s making it sound
