The 2018 Volvo XC60 T8 is the easiest car to review | EvoMalaysia.com

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

So I drove the Volvo XC60 T8 over a few days, and I wonder, given that the new X3 hasn't arrive, is there even a challenger to this car now? There's virtually no contest.

I did 1,700 km over 9 days from KL to Kemaman then going thru coastal roads to Terengganu, Kelantan and crossing the East - West Highway to Penang and back to KL on PLUS highway. Great drive and average consumption is circa 7.8ltr/100km. AWD mode on East - West Highway was the best experience.

@@BobbyAngmalaysia its going to be a difficult car to,replace in real world driving it is my favourite ever. The D5 powerpulse engine has the polestar software upgrade so it is very sharp and responsive in dynamic mode but also calm and relaxing especially in eco when it drops the drive during coasting .I have put on continental cross climate tyres which I much prefer to the original fitment and am warming to the all round capabilities of the auto headlights and cruise control more with every journey. The build quality seems to have a solid tight feel and the engine getting better with age.....criticisms are limited to maybe a bit of road noise on poor surfaces but that is too be expected coming from an Audi A8 previously.

Nice! I currently have my Volvo XC90 T8, but i really love the V90 XC, however i also have my trusty old 2009 S4 Avant. So the struggle would be if I traded the XC90 with the V90XC, i would have two five seater wagons, but if I let go the Audi at the same time, i'd be down by one car. Another problem, would be the fact that a 2018 V90XC T6 is the same price as a 2015 Audi RS6 in UK. And the temptation and struggle is real between the two. The Volvo would be low maintenance and low fuel consumption as well as having a nicer cabin, but the Audi ... well who could resist the idea of an RS6 Avant. Haha! Anyway, thank you so much for your words of encouragement!

I don't think you spend much time on how comfortable and how adjustable the Volvo seats are!! Itfeels like these seats were contoured to the shape of my body.. I can drive this SUV for 12 hours and still feel good unlike the RX350 that has horrible seats and tin metal. Volvo's door feel like a bank vault. Just when you thought XC 60 has the best seat in the car industry and can't get better than this, you walk up to XC 90 and the seat becomes like a first class Etihad air line seat vs. Others that are United Airline. Volvos are the most underrated luxury cars. Drive one on a long trip, you will not want to drive any other car.

When this video leads me to another Aussie video titled “don’t buy Volvo XC60” and at that moment I had a feeling that bobby is gonna say something about this and when I scrolled down to the comments section and yes I guessed it right hahahaha

Oh that Hyundai Kia fanboy. Attention seeking bald kangaroo. He said elantra's dual clutch is alright. Fuck his bald kangaroo sack it's alright, that's a slow as fuck dual clutch he say alright. According to his logic, Rolls Royce, Bentleys, BMW, Mercedes, Aston Marin all these shouldn't exist. Only Hyundai and Kia should because value.

after watching the guy rant, i get that he's trying to get car buyers (consumers?) wise up about value for money. but to me, for those who can afford an XC60 are not that concerned. they are more likely to consider the prestige and social value, as well as design and creature comforts. so the criteria is different. to me, that guy is like Sculley and Volvo is now in the same veins as what Jobs was doing.
