Infinix and Tecno used fake 48 and 64MP sensors. In the teardown, they used 12MP or 16MP sensors. The storage might be fake because the software can write a which number they want. Maybe the storage is just 32GB but the system shows 128GB. The software is really really bad that I don't know how to explain and they are famous of sending SMS without users notice.

@Ed Infinix and Tecno and also iTel are from the same company, Transsion. The reason they sell it so cheap not only that the software is full of ads, they use this to track users data and also sends out SMS and texts without users notice (for what purpose researchers hasn't know yet) to increase the bills of the user. Infinix and Tecno both released identical phones, they did the rebrand job and redesign very well, the hardware is the same. In the advertisement, they stated that they used 48MP or 64MP sensors, but in a teardown they only uses 12MP or 16MP sensors. Last time S5 Pro was launched. It's a triple rear camera phone with one popup shooter but exposed that the mediatek processor can't even handle the 48MP as they advertised. You might be thinking, yeah they take 8000x6000 48MP or 64MP sized photos but actually they combine 4 photos to make the photo larger in pixel. They has 4 cameras right? But well we are not sure if only 1 or 2 of them works. They used a lot of fake AI lens and Low light sensors which has no purposes. Their storage might be fake (no one has flashed a rom before so we don't know) because they can use a trick by making the software always show 128GB but the actual memory might be just 16GB or 32GB. Alot of Infinix and Tecno users complained that their phone storage filled up easily with just 1 to 2 apps so I suspect they used fake storage. Battery is real in teardown. There's more KZreadrs starting to review these phones but no one actually knew the truth!

That other phone they made where the squared camera bump is tilted with the corners pointing up and down, and then placed in the middle looked really great. I also like the colors on the 8, looks good too.

You were right about one thing: it's easier to make a high smartphone than a budget phone. In a budget market, you need to carefully chose what you must include and what can be compromised on,so you end up appealing to a certain kind of user only.

For most people, splurging $1,500 on a phone is simply impossible if they still want to be able to pay rent and eat that month. Especially in these times...

I've seen smartphones at the local Walgreens for 20 dollars, it's pretty amazing it was like an altacel onetouch or something but smartphones are super cheap now. I pay more than that for a drive-thru meal.

For a phone that price in the Philippines is quite good. Just like you said MK, the combination of 720p display and a 5200 mah batt is impressive for a $200 phone. Hopefully I could have one in the future, I guess.

The more you pay the more then put into the phone features not the additional items in the box. And those missing items should be dirt cheap but apple doesn't sell their shit for the fair market value they have a premium because they think their branding deserves the premium cost.

Realme and Xiaomi don't sell In usa that's the problem...for 200$ or 14k indian rupees...u can get a realme 7 which has 90hz lcd display...and 33w charger in box....also redmi note 9 pro is a solid choice

Honestly it was a good move. I was against it at first but any chance to lower our carbon footprint is a win. Plus unless it’s your first phone, you don’t need any more of the charging bricks. My family has a ton so we can just reuse them.

for real Apple:we aren't including the charging brick because its bad for the environment. also apple: had 2 different types of cable for there devices ,when they could easily use type c across all there devices. type c is faster and more efficient .
