It's great seeing these old games getting some attention. I've played a lot of these on their original cabs.

My pool hall had Breakout, Blockade, Maze, 280 Zzzap, Stunt Cycle and Sprint 2. I enjoyed these early video games but I still preferred playing pinball.

Hadn't thought of Night Driver in decades - that one was well impressive at first sight around those times

1976! the year I discovered video games! The arcade had Break Out, Pong, Night Driver, Sprint 2, Sky Raider, a few other video games and lots of pinballs.

I actually saw Stunt Cycle in a tiny arcade while on vacation once. This was already the fairly late 80s so it's a bit of a wonder that they even bothered to have the thing plugged in. I recall screen artwork of curved tubes on the sides of the screen, meant to indicate that the reason the rider exits and then reappears going the other direction is because he was traveling through said tube. It's a shame the emulator didn't have this artwork available.

8:54 8 player??? Are there any photos of the outside. I was 1 when this game came out and it seems it was already a museum piece by the time I started playing coin ops

Didn't play a single one of these BITD, bit old for me. And outside of Breakout, Night Driver and Sprint I'm not even familiar with the vast majority of them!

You know what really bothers me? So many people still to this day hold gaming to a different standard than film. You can show all sorts of human depravity, graphic violence, dismemberment, nudity, and just about any sex act you can think of on film. It can be done in poor taste and even exploitative in nature without much fuss. Oh but if you dare try that in a game get ready to dodge pitchforks and flaming arrows because you are a monster. Fox News and CNN both will declare that you are Public Enemy Number 1. They will call for boycotts and censorship of your product. Every Karen from Florida to California and back to New York will all be demanding to see the manager. Addendum- I remember back in the early 2000's Arnold Schwarzenegger came out in support of a violent video game ban. He then went on to say (I'm not joking) we should watch his movies instead with a straight face. What a total jackass..

Yep, very true, very good point indeed. And they were doing this even when games looked far from realistic - Death Race for example!
