I’ve been with you since the very early days and you never cease to inspire me and teach me so much. You are one of the most authentic and grounded KZreadrs I watch, in fact you’re THE most. I adore you and always will. ❤ I don’t know if you’ll see this comment but I wanted to ask your advice if I may be so indulgent?! I work in a care home and one of the residents recently lost her husband who was also living with us. He was 99, an incredible man who was selfless, vibrant and kind man right up until the very end. The reason I’m asking your advice is that his wife has asked me to do her make up on the morning of his funeral! I’m so honoured and absolutely want to make her look her best. She is 94 and has very deep wrinkles. I am not an MUA, I can barely do my own make up (took me years of watching you to get it right!). She only wants foundation & lipstick as she never wears eye make up. Is there a technique you recommend? I think I need to buy a wax lip liner as she wants red lips and she has deep lined lips also. I just want her to feel beautiful. The funeral is 16th Feb. I will trawl through your mature make up videos but she really is deeply wrinkled so I am so afraid of making her look bad! I will take any advice ❤ Thank you Wayne for all you do for us xxxx

Oh also Wayne and other MUAs share this tip a lot but it's amazing for mature skin- mix your foundation with primer, it looks amazing and is so much more forgiving with dry skin. Wayne also suggests a few drops of any oil instead of primer, I have not tried it though. I use the AOA Pore Filling Primer from Miss A, it's like $1 or $2.

I'm older & I found my solution completely accidentally, I use a fine mist spray of rose water, I keep it in the fridge so its nice & refreshing, & start putting on the foundation while my skins still slightly damp. I find I use less, and it blends better especially over wrinkles...seems to help it last too, and smells lovely first thing in the morning!

I just watched a 7 year old video you made. You were enlightening us about how some use filters while filming makeup videos, and how they can make some feel they are ugly and old after watching these videos over and over. My God,I appreciate your video so much. You would not believe how horrible I feel…..or have felt about myself after watching these videos where a 60 year old looks 50. I’m 65, so naturally I don’t look 55. And some of these women are my age, and I have become so angry at myself for not being able to look as good as they do. I only recently found you. And honestly your videos are very, very good. Although, I love all your videos thus far, the one on viewers being lied to hit home. Again , thank you from the bottom of my heart. Now, maybe I will not be as hard on myself. ❤

Yes King! Last week one morning, I used my Westman A foundation stick with Petal blush on lips/eyes/cheeks, then threw on some brown mascara and it was so pretty of a look. ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼

YOU GUYS! If you haven't tried this yet do it NOW!!! I did it at 1 am, with just an old mini Nars luminous concealer (which i always use and love, i didn't have a stick) and some random blush i never use, after a few glasses of wine, and it is FABULOUS!!! It's beyond fabulous. Like walk into a party, with nothing more, fabulousness. I then added a tiny fast swipe of sheen from a broken down Becca,(really miss becca) on tops of cheek & brow bones, and a fast slug of medium brown, tightline, threw on a rosie lippy, light mascara on the outer ends only, and HOLY SMOKES. It was not just "in the car between lights late for work" pretty. It was "I AM about to take photos with the Queen" gorgeous. I'm over 55, struggling with eyes lately, and not able to just get that chic, easy, "not over done look" anymore, even though my skin is really good...THIS IS IT LADEEZ. You can always throw a subtle rub of some neutral shade over a non existent eye crease (like mine) for depth if you need to, but truly, this will knock your socks off just as it is. Do try it, and then thank the Lord Baby Jesus, for this gentleman, Wayne Goss.

Maybelline has a decent stick foundation for anyone on a budget. I actually returned my Fenty and tried Maybelline and it works better for my skin at least! Also, the westman atelier is $68 😱

Love this! Whats the primer treatment you use first?

I'll have to do my brows first before applying this look, but it's perfect for when you need to get out the door in a hurry.
