Knowers will calculate the reving speed knowing the feeling of the car, listening the speed of reving, they know the ratios of acceleration and how fast or slow revs a stock one and this one

I like that build. Have you seen the fastest stock 1.6 on the Nurburgring? I think they use a Honda Civic radiator, which is half as wide as the Miata radiator but more rows, so it allows the intake tract to come straight from the grill.

I really love how you're just coming out with Miata reviews.

What'd you have to do with the bumper cover to keep it on the car? Got that same bash bar on mine and can't figure out a clean way to keep it on the car

Wicked vid guys, love this car! I too have a 92 Miata, and I've had it since new!! 😜 But the only og thing about her is the colour of the paint!! She's a Turbo 1.8 mated to a limited slip 6 speed sitting on adjustable coil overs. Oh and a tiny Momo Montecarlo wheel giving her Go Cart characteristics!! I'm 54 and still Moto Cross for fun, but I drive this beauty when I really want to scare myself!!!! lmfao 🤙😎

I hear you , I have a 1999 since new as well . I went the NA route with headers , Exhaust and suspension mods . Love driving on the weekends !!

With the shaved head, he should consider upgrading to turbo FC injectors and a flex fuel sensor, lines and going E85. I'd wager that he'd top 160rwhp easily and flirt with 170...

Tommy would be upset about that sticker being there 😂

Sweet car man! I'm in Marietta too. Trying to do something similar with my nb and looking for someone who knows more about tuning Miatas than I do... any recommendations? My next step is Megasquirt and fuel injectors... any help would be appreciated.

oscarlainz doesnt make a difference with a stock motor all that much but does with a setup like dales, the OEM square top manifold does the same thing a skunk2 does though and it’s cheaper to get

Power matters not. Speed isn’t equivalent to power. Speed is all about ratio. If your legs had 65 horsepower you would be the fastest thing at the drag strip.

A gen 1 dodge viper puts down 245 to the wheels PER TON. A tuned 93 FBO Focus ST puts down about 156 to the wheels PER TON. This Miata is at 150 per ton, because it weighs like… a ton.

@@benen8440 I'm running the miataroadster shifter (which uses grease instead of fluid in the turret) and the 5xracing bronze bushing. So that's probably why it's so noisey.

Does that car have the exhintake cam swap? I love his build the thing extra aside from the exhintake swap I would do are 85mm bore Supertech pistons. Having the extra 2mm of bore pistons usually take the wheel torque up to 140+ ft-lbs.

It has a BP5A intake cam. I don't plan on building the block so I can keep it affordable to replace if I over rev and spin a bearing. Might build the head more in the future.

You can just flip the intake cam gear 180 so both cams say E E at the top and keep 19tooth separation on the belt and for some reason it gives the car nice lower and mid power

@@carlosnumbertwo my shifter is not stock. It's a miataroadster shifter with 5xracing brass bushing. The miataroadster shifter uses a lube in the turrett instead of gear oil.
