Same, that and the mentality of wanting to improve. I’ve been platinum since season 4 to 10, with many perma bans, but at season 11 something clicked and I wanted to actually get better instead of mindlessly spamming games. I watched a guide on wave control, turned off chat and wanted to get better rather than win, and went from plat to master in the next two months

​@@hyabusa22when you are against an over aggressive support let them push, he can aggro you when you are too close to your tower, also if they engage you on that position and your jungler is comming its much harder for them to escape the gank. The dificulty for me is as support how to apply any of this with a clueless adc that will attack the wave as its rebounding every single time and keep us pushed up served on a silver platter to the enemy jungler.

Fizz 4k at 11:10 is nasty

12:13 so annoying that Ahri does not pick up the Blue buff. As a jungler it amazes me that I keep placing free buffs on the map and no one takes them even when I ping. Sure it does not always make sense to rotate to the buff immediately, but there are usually a lot of opportunities to pick up the buff while moving, warding or after having pushed a wave.

that bonus tip at the beginning was pretty huge, I thought the only way to accomplish the same goal was pulling the whole wave at the first bush and taking 100-200 damage. hitting a single ranged creep and walking away looks like it cuts that to as low as 0 damage

in a melee vs ranged like the fizz example what if they set up a cheater recall when you concede the first two minon waves

11:10 that's a nice fizz ult

#3 is great, but they should mention some champs will punish it, like siver, nilah, yas. Even if you crash a cannon wave, they will have the wave under your turret before you get back to lane. They can often do it even if you've killed them, crash and back. It's kind of ridiculous the advantage these champs can get from it.

Hmm, I kinda disagree with mistake 7. Unless you're in diamond+ you can win any lane regardless of having a weak early game champ or you are playing against a ranger champ. And you do this by baiting them to walk up just when you hit your level 2 (first wave + melee or 4 melee + 2 casters). You can get a good trade this way, push wave into them and recall. They then have to push the wave out with lower hp with the fear of getting ganked. That's why you especially look for priority to your level 2 when playing melee vs ranged. Ty for the fundamentals goat AloisNL for teaching me this. Even against hardcounters you can still easily win lane when abusing level up timers

What should Ori do in mistake 7 against fizz?

My team ganks bot then mess up our wave and the game is so hard for the next few minutes. Because all they had to do was continue pushing. Not just half ass get some minions than stop. The biggest problem with ranked is just how many people don't look up anything and just play as if it's a PvE game. Going into games saying things like "TF ADC a thing?" YESS! It is.

@@shangerdanger Might depend on what your laner is trying to go for, if they know at all. I've had plenty of junglers push a wave after a gank (and I've died and on the way back to lane) when the wave was slow-pushing towards me and that sets up a freeze or neutral lane for the enemy laner which makes life hard for me if I'm behind.

When you do a cheater recall, by the time you get back the enemy generally has a slow push built up and a level lead. Do you still contest it?

Looks like Fizz might've messed up at 7:22 - the wave might not fully hit tower due to incoming red wave

Definitely not noob friendly. I think you already need a solid grasp of wave management before watching this.

What’s next,10 roaming/ganking mistake? 10 midgame/late game mistake?

Freezing the wave is generally not a good strategy since the introduction of turret plates. Plates and tempo are just more valuable.

in a bad matchup freezing could be nice to avoid ganks, set up the enemy in a gankable position and just farm safely under the turret, for example Kayle's first 6 levels, or a bad matchup where you can do fuckall

@ImmaPhoenix in a bad matchup the opponent can always break the freeze. Freezing is only possible when you are winning unless your opponent doesn't understand wave manipulation.

Idk I feel like u shouldn’t be taxing the wave if u get the kill. If u kill the opponent, the advantage that it gives to your laner is that they can now kill the minions and shove the wave into the tower. If they get the kill, the advantage is that they get gold, and it’s chill to take a minion or 3. If u both get the kill and take minions, the only thing that your laner gets out of it is like 3 minions and a back that they would have done anyway. So it ends up not even being a favor for them, even if it’s good for the team.

I think that last one was a bad example. Yes, the overall lane management was correct. But ahri going bot was likely to also stop Smolder from freely stacking his passive on the uncontested minion waves. Keeping him from stacking (just like with nasus) is a win condition. As even if she went top and they won that fight. Smolder would be several minion waves closer to his final passive tier. With burn damage and execute. Let alone bonus damage on his abilities. Unless you know that a play elsewhere will lead to a snowball and early win. Shutting down or at least contesting his stacking is more important. For the same reason you may give up roaming on a pushed lane against a nasus. Because you need to punish and contest his stacking. Or he'll show up later and truck your team.

This game is absolutely dead because players using hacks and cheats for scripting and riot does absolutely nothing about it if they donate. I am pro level player one of the best in repeat gg and its absolutely impossible to win a game anymore because hackers and cheaters with scripting. 5% win rate suddenly end up 5398423423234 kills 0 deaths 4509802w39e8409234804 assists. Total pay to win game. Dead game. RIP League of Scripting
