I know DC dropped to LHW so he wouldn't have to fight Cain but I wish he never dropped down. Right when he went down, Cain lost his title. DC at heavyweight was unreal and even though later on, he moved up and won the HW title, that wasn't peak heavyweight DC. If DC had stayed at HW the whole time, he would've most definitely won the title and defended it at least 5 or 6 times.

@@pstratos7 yeah, but it's "in MMA history", not in "UFC history" and Askren has one of the most impressive wrestling accomplishments in MMA history for sure. He was just already washed when he entered the UFC: way over 30, bad knees and hips, been off the game a long time and did compete for ages before. And considering that, he did pretty well tbh. Lawler slammed him, true, but Ben fought through it and still got the win, the Masvidal fight wasn't really a fight, but an execution and the Maia fight gets slept on massively! Demian Maia is among the best grapplers to ever compete in MMA and Askren gave him one hell of a fight on the ground for almost two rounds. He took his back, threw him multiple times, passed his guard(!), swept him, etc. Again, considering his physical state at that point, that's incredible!

For anyone wondering why Colby's TD didn't count against Kamaru: In the unified rules, a takedown in MMA is only counted if the person who performed the takedown established control after getting the other person to the ground (i.e went into mount or flattened them out) for a good period of time. Because Kamaru's knees touched the ground that would be a takedown in wrestling, but the unified rules state Colby had to do more for it to count.

Khabib was the better pure wrestler in mma, he has better chain wrestling skills than georges but Gsp was the most effective wrestler in mma history with his proactive and reactive takedown which were set ups by strikes. Khabib would probably beat gsp in a pure wrestling competition but that’s not the point here. It’s mma (different sport) Two goats with profound respect for each other.

Askren for sure deserves to be on here. I know it's harder to get stats from overseas but he'd absolutely be up there with the best. The title says MMA but it seems like it's just a Zuffa list.

The list is about who used it the most effectively. Hendricks just like romero, used his wrestling just to stop takedown. They are still arguably the most decorate wrestlers that fought in the ufc. Their weapons were more about power strikes.

To dispute your other KKK member, all his brothers have acne even the one that isn't an athlete, does that mean he also does epo?? Also everyone who has done epo didn't have acne like TJ. Rest of your points are pretty stupid, like GSP has that too but ohh GSP is white he isn't cheating lmao. Takedown didn't count cause with UFC rules he didn't have control time, also if you count that as a takedown then maia actually took Usman down first. Your insecure white ego can't let you understand this tho. Grow up
