Marquardt had inconsistent performances even while on the stuff. One day he'd look like the greatest fighter in his division, then the next fight looked like shit. Take his fights against Tyron Woodley and Tarec Saffiedine, against Woodley he looked amazing and scored a brutal and underrated KO over Woodley. Then against Saffiedine lost in lackluster fashion. Its safe to assume the TRT era would have lasted longer had Vitor not abused it to the extreme. Chances are old man Dan Henderson would have still been consistently winning fights into 2016 and despite being well into his 40's, likely beaten Bisping again. @@dillyDillzmuaythai4life I’m not very big. 5’9” 210-220 ish but I had botched surgeries. For me after radiation I can’t produce any testosterone at all. Also almost my entire digestive tract was removed because of mistakes in surgery so I have short bowel syndrome. Short bowel means I can’t absorb much of what I eat especially iron, one of the steroids I need is nandrolone and is prescribed to get iron levels back up. So I’m not really supposed to be able to weigh more than 130-140ish without steroids. I used to get hurt all the time and feel terrible before it. there is no rush or high. The two main things is you BENEFIT from training harder and and harder and you can train for longer and benefit from it, when natural you eventually hit a point where training harder actually becomes detrimental either you start losing progress, getting injured, even lowering your own natural testosterone. MOST people don’t train hard enough or long enough to need it but they think they train harder than they really do, but once you hit a point either you get worse or you need them. Most fighters elite fighters train sooooo many hours and so much harder than most people that it would benefit them much more than normal people. So when natural they can train alot and improve skills but then they won’t be optimally training their muscles, with steroids they wouldn’t need to pick one or the other any more. It would be unfair to have testosterone/other steroids against other people that aren’t allowed to, so as much as I miss fighting it wouldn’t be fair to compete with naturals even if they are better fighters than I am. That’s why I can’t fight, all I can do is lift weight and try to kind of look athletic.

That era from the last 4 years of Pride up to Jon Jones winning the tittle was easily the best era for light-heavyweights in mma, there was such parity with a shit ton of good to great LHW's to boot, and since the LHW division is by far my favorite division - it was pretty much my favorite era in mma in general. Nothing against Jon Jones, in fact i'd go so far as to say he's probably the greatest most well-rounded fighter in mma history, it's just that he was so hyper-dominant that nobody had a shot in hell of defeating him. Whereas instead starting back in 2007 when Quinton beat Chuck to win the UFC belt, over the course of the next 7 LHW championship fights - there were 5 different championship winners, (if i remember correctly). It went from Liddell, to Jackson, to Forrest, to Rashad, to Machida, to Shogun, with only Jackson and Machida successfully defending the belt, (though Jackson got screwed outa defending it for a second time as most certainly deserved to get his hand-raised instead of Forrest, seeing as how he while having def lost the first two rounds - there's no way he didn't do enough to win at least 2 of the last 3, if not all 3 - meaning at worst it shoulda been ruled a draw imo). Back then during the Pride era to and through till the first few years after it was bought out by the UFC when you also had a bunch of new and pretty decently sized promotions popping up - like Strikeforce, Affliction, Dream, One FC, WEC, Bellator, and Elite XC, along with the older M1-Global promotion. None nearlyas big as the UFC, hell - Pride for that matter, but were still a few were far larger than Bellator is now, with Bellator being pretty much the only other decently sized promotion aside for the UFC nowadays. It was so awesome back then with a slew of good to great LHW's with none of them being clearly better than eachother. From 04 to 2011 or so you had the likes of Quinton Jackson, Chuck, Vitor, Shogun, Wandi, Alistair, Hendo, Machida, Evans, Forrest, Tito, Sobral, Mousassi, Little Nog, Thiago Silva, and finally Ricardo Arona, (prolly the most underrated of all of them). Then there was an even larger amount of second tier fighters - from Stephan Bonner, James Irvin, a young Phil Davis, Matt Hamill, Keith Jardine, Cyril Diabate, Luis Artur Cane, Sokoudjou, Matyushenko, Cyborg Santos, young King Mo, Rodney Glunder, and young Jon Jones just to name a few. Finally starting 3 or so years ago we're seeing a return to parity in the division now that Jones was stripped of the belt and has officially moved up to HW, with a bunch of great fighters all with seemingly equal levels of skills and athletic ability to become champ in the newt few years, from Thiago Santos, to Johnny Walker, Reyes, Jiri, Anthony Smith, Corey Anderson, Paul Craig, Jan, Rakic, and of course the current champ - Glover.

Made me have super late puberty and I just didn't produce any testosterone or adrenaline until I was 18. Never even had a jump starter and then everything kicked in at once where it was discovered my natural TE ratio is 5/1. It's cause many issues, but my doctor was stunned by it and thought I was juicing, only steroid in my body at the time was anti-inflammatory since I can't take nsaids. Only drugs he found were marijuana and nicotine and tells me to "just be thankful since at 50 my levels will be like that of an average man half that age"

I’m talking about people like Michael bisping: seems like nobody really liked him until he wasn’t fighting anymore now everyone loves him. Daniel Cormier: kinda the same story. Henry Cejudo: king of cringe, now looked at as the lovable uncle that we just want to see more of. Even Chael: a little different but his reputation is totally different after fighting than during. I think it could be a cool topic to talk about and what they did specifically and how that changed peoples minds on them. Could help fighters that are maybe about to transition out of fighting.

When a person suffers TBI it can damage the pituitary gland and pineal gland that regulate testosterone production and the holy triad adrenaline, dopamine and endorphin. Veterans that are diagnosed with PTSD but don't show improvement after psychoanalysis and thearapy can be checked for TBI by giving them a shot of testosterone. If the veteran has an immediate positive effect it means he had a TBI instead of PTSD. When fighters get into thier mid thirties they get depressed and have less emotional range. Its cruel to not let them take as much testosterone as they need to be happy and motivated. Brain damage can be minimized through testosterone replacement fighters should be able to take as much testosterone as needed. I hate watching fighters become depressed and emotionally flat because they are not allowed to take testosterone its cruel and unnecessary .A lot of these fighters retire and get so depressed and their memory goes and they can't show emotion or if they do its frustrated anger. These people need to be prescribed testoserene and amphetamine and they will snap back their memory comes back they can think clearly again and be productive after a career of concussions and subconcusive abuse. Its not the damage to the brain but damage to the glands within the brain that causes the miserable symptoms. We know what works but doctors will try everything but what we know works. They may eventually get dementia and lose their memory even with the testoserene and amphetamine but not until their in their 60's or older. Assuming they retire from mma by 35 there is no reason for them to spend the next 30 years depressed and unable to remember what they are doing its stupid and cruel not to give them what works instead of all sorts of other things that dont work and never will. Testosterone and amphetamines get the job done period end of story and doctors that are to pathetic to do what works and instead try everything else need to get out of the way and let a doctor who lives in the real world take care of the fighters.
