Aliens Rogue Incursion is top of the list obvs. Also looking forward to Into The Radius 2 and Metro especially 😁 (Also just as the name John Wick crops up in commentary for Gunman Chronicles we get the stairs scene from 4. If this wasn't an accident, kudos on the editing 😉) Wonder if The Wanderer will have an upgrade option 🤔

Missed opportunity to call it “In2 The Radius”

Gunman Contracts on hardest difficulty is my favourite VR experience of all time, and I'm primarily sim racer and og VR user since 2017.

This is a great video! Definitely helps, I’m an aspiring creator looking for content to make on VR. How do you come across these fantastic games? And some of the recording setting and wacky for some games. Any tips?

That's not possible without PCVR. The Quest it not capable of running high end games like that standalone.

@@MrEDET Do you use Quest Games Optimizer? Have you played Bone Works? Have you played Red Matter 2? The Quest 3 is more than capable of pulling off a decent flight SIM or racing sim or space sim it really isn't that hard it's just resources and funding, there's just not enough people using the quest for developers and investors to throw that much money into developing something that's that high fidelity. Which is infuriating because there are still a lot of people with quests; when it comes to people who have the quest will typically buy those really good games. So if there's 2 to 5 million people that own quest threes you're more than likely going to get 2 to 5 million sales on that game as long as piracy protection is in place, which i'm not really for because i pirate all my games.... It's just way too easy currently and Meta really hasn't put in enough safeguards. And I'm not working currently.. could also be another reason why there just aren't as many companies developing high fidelity games for the quest because it's just way too easy to crack and play pirated games. I am especially keen for the Wanderer game. If that's coming to the quest finally, that looks incredible, hopefully will be an official quest 3 port so it's not going to be on the quest 2 and restricted and held back due to that because i feel like the quest 3 is more than capable of pulling it off, Seeing those divisions will have much higher budget than what the bone works devs had and to be honest man like they were an indie development team and bone works does look and feel good especially with quest game optimizer like you can make it look quite sharp.

Some suprising omissions from this list like Madison VR, OVR Dark, Metal Hellslinger VR and Riven. With those mentioned here and these games, I actually think this is looking lika a pretty good year for VR so far. Hopefully some more things will be announced soon.

Madison VR is terrible. It has some of the worst controls I've ever experienced in a VR game. It makes me sad because I was really excited for it.

Thanks for another great list, as always. 😀 Hope that the following games prove them self great enough for you to mention them on a future video: Whitewater VR - extreme kayaking adventure, Tomb Explorer VR, Subside( you have done one already ), F1 24, Geronimo, Uboat - The silent wolf VR(PCVR), Taskmaster VR, Pirates VR: Jolly Roger.

I feel like Metro 1 and 2s linearity lend themselves really well to VR. I hope its of decent length. I could see it being like Paradise Hotel, amazingly tight but super short. I hope not though.

Don't understand how people can say psvr2 needs more games when most of these are psvr2 and will be the upgraded versions. Fingers crossed for returnal vr , looking forward to madison with FDR and metal hell singer.

returnal VR I already think it's difficult to happen if Sony continues not to release any new exclusives for the PSVR2, well, we'll see next year, Madison VR I'm very excited even more now that it has FDR support and 90fps, if it comes in a good resolution too and use the vibration of the sense controls and the headset well, then it will be the perfect version.

"Rogue Incursion" leads me to believe its going to be a Roguelike. Which, not bashing it. A Cosmodread style game in the Alien universe would be sweet.

I am very excited about the prospect of Metro, teaming up with Vertigo should create a fantastic game. I love both Arizona Sunshine and particularly After the fall, i have held back on playing AS 2 so far while they get through the inevitable patches that are landing since release. What their games seem to do very well are the mechanics of shooting, accuracy etc.. and add to that the atmosphere the games create, which should lead to an excellent combination with the Metro world

Not gonna lie, I'm a huge Alien fan as well, but there is no way I'm playing any Alien game in VR. As an 80s child growing up with the films, that's a big nope for me, too scary lol. Into the Radius 2 is probably my number one I'm looking forward to. The first game was awesome, one of those games of VR that define what VR is. But damn, Metro Awaking VR is... PSVR gamers lucky... really feels like we're getting top tier games that are far better than flatscreen counterparts this year.

Sorry for my interjection, yesterday Whitewater VR: Extreme Kayaking Adventure was released on Steam , and it's great 👍.

You should try AoT by Slavka, easly the best Attack on Titan game. It has Titan shifting, almost limitless precedural open world and the best movement that is fast and has controlled flips.

It's a shame to see most VR developers leaving PSVR2 in the dust. As I cannot afford to own both, I am left feeling like I made the wrong choice, despite the few core games we do have.

I see people making good points here, I am not saying there are no games on PSVR2, definitely not. But as I have not had the chance to play PC VR games, I find myself much more interested in games like HL: Alyx, Blade and Sorcery, and Into The Radius.

Metro Awakening is the first game I've seen that made me think something might finally look better visually than Half Life Alyx. Can't wait to see i tin headset.

Behemot shows this non ingame trailer... but fact is, we could have graphics like that in VR... if VR developpers used the unreal engine 5 for their game instead of using shitty graphics because the quest 3 is weak AF.

Alien Isolation was one of the most thrilling games I've every played, since I had never seen an aliens movie or even played a horror game before. It's pretty freaky when you have no idea what is crawling around.

I like VR but it clearly caters to a total other audience than me. For instance, when you say you can never have too many VR zombie shooters, for me that would be one. Shooters in general are an instant no go for me. Even games like Half Life Alex are a turn off because of the gun play. I am very attracted to the puzzle aspect of the Wanderer game, but to play it I would have to pay the price of the shooting aspect that many may find as a bonus rather that a hindrance. I would love to see the classic adventure game style brought to VR. Just imagine a VR Full Throttle or Monkey Island.

Have you tried Red Matter 2? I recently started it. I gather there will be some combat at a certain point in the story but so far its just a puzzle adventure game and that's where the focus lies.

Noire I would like to try that myself but I think RM2 is closer to the kind of thing you're thinking of and it has a nicely thought out control system that makes it very interactive. To be honest it reminds me of playing"The Dig" back in the day. I would also suggest checking out The 7th Guest. From what I have played so far they've done an excellent job revitalising the game while staying true to the original. I haven't tried Myst VR but that's maybe another you could look into.

No mention of Riven? Shame! ;)

There doesn't seem to be a decent AAA arcade style racer made for VR, lots of sim racers but nothing for fun casual players. Something like forza horizon for VR would be great.

I love horror but I hate that almost all games are scary. I would love gta or hogwarts legacy on psvr 😭

Dang, once again the VR game landscape looks pretty bleak 😔. Good job on the list it's just nothing really looks that exciting.

Saying a game looks amazing from a cinematic trailer is wrong. Behemoth from a trailer looks like a great video, but as a game, well it will probably be like any other sword and board game. There is always the high hopes, just never get hopes to high.
