China during the Korean pushed the US/NATO/UN away from its border. China was extremely poor back than and didnt have a industry. Now China could probably easily destroy the US. Especially after seeing how the NATO weapons did in the Ukraine counter offensive . The myth of Western weapons being good is really over.

Taigei only just started operation and this video was made before this. This vid mentioned Soryu class and Taigei is another variant of Soryu with improved onboard system and Lithium battery.

It's a channel run by Wumao, so the rate Chinese stuff always at the top and rarely include any Japanese units, or if they include Japanese units they include old stuff that isn't even in service anymore, lol. at least one of the quietest. Kinda hard to know exactly how the Chinese perform and so on. Also if not American it is hard to compare as they do exercise both with Asian countries and European ones. I as a Swede can't wait to see how the new A26 performs on international exercises when deployed.

Swedish Gotland class subs and German Type 206 subs should be ranked 1st and 2nd as they were able to sink a US carrier during wargaming exercises in the Pacific. Followed by Type 212 and Japanese subs like the new Taigei class and older Soryu class.

Yeah no, the Gotland should be no 1 on this list. A Gotland snuck up on a US carrier during NATO exercises. China's submarines are known to be very noisy.

Literally over a dozen different Western navies have scored at least one kill against a US carrier during war games, it's peanutes. The Dutch Walruss-class is rightfully number one because it's the only diesel-electric to annihilate literally half the US carrier taskgroup including 5 or 6 frigates and destroyers and even a Los Angeles-class nuclear attack sub, all of it while remaining undetected and getting away unharmed afterwards. The Dutch are widely revered in naval circles because of it. Just Google "Dutch sub sinks half US navy" and you'll find a dozen articles about it.

A portuguese U-209PN (german made) sub from the Tridente class did exactly the same so that’s not a big deal for the best electric subs, and the best is not even mentioned in this pathetic video, wich is exactly the U-209PN, a special version made for the portuguese navy.

Why is it that the state-of-the-art Taigei-class submarine is not included in the ranking, even though the Harushio-class submarine, which began its retirement over 10 years ago, is included in the ranking? Common sense suggests that the world's best diesel submarines are Japan's Soryu and Taigei types.

This list is wrong in so many levels, if the Chinese subs are better than a gotland or 212, I am the king of England. Whover made this video must be smoking something other than a Marlboro.

It is true that Japanese submarines are under rated and Chinese submarines are over rated! Chinese submarines are the highest threat in the world! So it should be okay for Japan and the U.S. to greatly expand their military budgets to balance their military, right? As far as Japan is concerned, it spends only 20% of China's budget, so please don't make the mistake of complaining that we are a military nation. LOL
