AC/DC with Bon was and is legendary

At their best. Pity I was born too late to see them in a time of Bon Scott being around. Saw them later on as teenager but was nothing like this. This was the the height of pub rock era in Australia, even though this is them on overseas tour. Cold Chisel, AC/DC, Midnight Oil, The Angels and Rose Tattoo all around in this pub rock era. It would never be this good again in any other time of rock n roll history for live music. Envious of those that were at the pub gigs in late 70' and early 80's.

@@shaundgb7367 I was born in 1960 and got to see them live with Bon at least 5 times in Melbourne when I was 14/15. He was the greatest frontman and I would never see them without him and never have. He was it for me, and no offence to Brian, but Bon was and will always be the lead singer of AC/DC. He is who I grew up loving as their frontman and that will never change. Boy I lived through the best times for live music on the planet here in Melbourne. So lucky!!

It doesn’t get much better than that!!!!! Bon Scott (RIP) singing his ass off and Angus just tearing the guitar up is just the best in my humble opinion!!!!! They have been doing it for 50 years now so obviously they are doing something right!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!! 😎🍸

One word....Legendary.
In my opinion, this is their best concert
Captured on the live album “If You Want Blood” absolute classic every track, the whole concert!!!

This is the band I was lucky enough to see.
Let there be rock live river plate, 15 minute guitar solo awesome. Lucky to have seen them live in the early years. Awesome then and still are
You couldn't have picked a better live album to do from them👍
The World’s GREATEST Rock N Roll Band ☝🏼🎸🎸BON 🤘🏻
Chuck Berry Meets Metal!! Bon Scott could very well be the greatest Rock Vocalist ever...
Another Australian band, rocking your world
This is some real, RAW rock n roll. Thanks for the reaction! ❤️
To think Angus could still do this 31 years after this date is unbelievable!!!
Now that was fire. You can't squeeze out much more of an electric guitar.
Angus going off 😮🔥AC/DC 👏👏
Angus Young, what a talent. A guitar genius.
Early ACDC. This is Angus on every song. Full concert. Amazing energy.
AC/DC with Bon (RIP) is like no other. As an Aussie teenager this band was the ultimate Australian rock band. Bon fronted AC/DC is the bomb. Sadly his passing and “Bon’s” Back In Black was the end of the band for me. Could never listen to Brian Johnson murdering the classics and everything post BIB paled in comparison. Great reaction. One of the saddest moments in music ever. AC/DC were peaking and the music was SO good and the music was SO loud!!! Let there be rock. Let there be AC/DC!!!! Great reaction
i was lucky enough to be at this concert...heard from a friend how good they were but had to see for myself....f..k me i was BLOWN away...lets not forget though Malcolm and Phil on the drums and rhythm keeping the beat going

GREAT REACTION. Vocalist Bon Scott RIP on vocals, Angus Young lead guitar. Brilliant musicians
That Riff is a classic rock and roll riff that started in the 50s which they worked it perfect into this banger
Bon Scott RIP is legendary... Brian Johnson has done a fantastic job by keeping ACDCs music alive but Bon is still the greatest
I saw them live on this tour in 1978, the loudest band I've ever heard.
the next song from this concert was the most epic, when the angus is so exhausted on stage that the oxygen mask is already ready and there is a lot of water. He's just great. the song is called - "I'm Rocker"

Rocker... 12 minutes :D So great. But this isn´t on that album. There it is only 3:40...
One thing about Angus, never done drugs and doesn't drink, his high comes from the music
Bon was such a star, sadly gone to soon, I do love the original long way to the top video going down Swanston st. and my other favourite Jailbreak.
C'mon! Angus just did my yearly exercise in the space of 10 minutes. Totally in his element right there. The whole song was tight af. I'm so proud they are Aussies 🙌🏻

Yeah dude, Bon Scott's voice kicks ass, and a lotta time it sounds like he's laughing atchya 😂
You have a great voice man!
Mate. That Singer. Welcome to the best ever rock song ever! This concert was incredibly rare in the 80’s. I only managed to get a copy from my best friends older sister. It got stolen from me as it was so rare.
I was there. It was absolutely brilliant.
The best group❤
they are so on the pocket all the time that is insane!
Amazing
You know when your own lead vocalist is going crazy over you? You ARE THE MAN. lol
Angus is So Awesome on tht Guitar
Nick I’m really glad you checked Bon out. He is the essence of AC/DC and the best. C’mon BON…🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺👏👏👏❤❤❤
My fave song from my fave band. Angus is STILL going strong well into his late 60's. They are just loud, in your face and straight up rock and roll with no apologies. RIP Bon and Mal . great reaction video!
Don't you just wish you could go back in time.
Sorry but I grew up with Acca Dacca with Bon Scott it’s the only AC/ DC for me those days were just phenomenal. RIP Bon 😊🇦🇺👍

Don’t be sorry because you are so right. RIP Bon. A freaking god!!
Bon Scott fantastyczny.
I was only 6 years old in 1978 and by the time I was listening to hard rock/heavy metal I was into the later 80s stuff. Extreme, Skid Row, GnR, etc. Somehow I never really connected with AC/DC. They were too "rough" and "raw". There were no fancy effects and tapping guitar solos and cool clothes. I liked stuff like Thunderstruck and I knew they had once had a different singer ... but I just wasnt so interested. But man .. I have just been re-discovering this early Bon Scott era stuff. Especially the live footage. And holy SHIT! I am blown away. Just pure rocking swagger and boundless energy. If I had to explain "hard rock" to aliens .. this is what I would use. Just a whole other level. Scott had such great energy as a front man. I love the way he dances around the stage in a totally non-forced way, and is kind of a counter balance to Angus's manic bopping. It doesnt look like Scott is "trying" to be entertaining .. he's just feelin it! And then that "saucy smirk" thing that he has is so cool! Brain Johnson was a great replacement, but he just didnt have that "magic" that Scott had. I\m a new fan at 49 years old!
Yes legend!!!! Got all their albums!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am 65 and still head banging right now I am a Mum a a Nana 💋❣💕😿 Bon Scott died I was destroyed
The great bon Scott!
Love ACDC
Bon Angus and Malcolm (rip) back on their turf where they were born and Scotland were in the World Cup so later in the show they had Scotland football shirts on and kicking a football from the stage into the crowd and the Glaswegians rocked with AC/DC that night
I missed Bon but I saw them 8 times I Houston, Tx..I'm 72 y rs old..you need see it Live.
The best
Yes yes yes!!! My favourite man in the whole world Angus Young! (Sorry Prince) can’t help but rock out to this in my chair right along with you! You’ve got to watch Bad Boy Boogie, same concert. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Young brothers are from the city they are playing in the recording. They are not Australian, they are Scottish! Bon was Scottish too!
Love the reaction. They were electric at this performance 😊
AC/DC doesn't have an off switch live, they are *always* on.
Angus!!! ❤✌🎶
I love the video of this song done in the church.
The Bon Scott era was definitely where it was at
Going constantly with the music is call rockin' rollin.
Angus is very shy off stage...on stage Wild.
"This dude basically had a seizure on stage" I love it!
"The white man had the shmaltz, the black man had the blues no one knew what they were gonna do but Chaikovsky had the news he said let there be light, sound, drums guitar let there be rock"
Here is a list that you should try (in any order): -Whole Lotta Rosie (Live at River Plate) - (With Brian) -TNT (Live at River Plate) - (with Brian) -Riff Raff Live at Apollo Theatre - (with Bon) - The Jack Live at River Plate - (with Brian) - Its a Long Way to The Top (If you wanna Rock n Roll) - (with Bon) - Thunderstruck - Live at River Plate or Donington - (with Brian) -For Thouse About to Rock - Live at River Plate (is The Last song from the concert)

Loving it
Epic stuff!
Saw them on that tour later that year and was at Bon's last concert in January 1980... unforgettable
You have a nice voice dude! Great reaction!
Angus. A man so into his shit, it's unbelievable. :)
Right On.
AC/DC died when Bon Scott did! No better front man than Bon!! 🤘😊 Seen them with Bon 16 times! 🤘😊
Angus stole this show, but Bon was great. Yeh, he has a seizure, Angus, for two hours! The crazy thing is if you focus on the rhythm section you can see they are the ultimate supporting cast for those seizures. They are tight, tight, tight, and Seizure Man uses them to keep his pace going.
This one is 2 years older and it has an instrument he forgot to mention here. " AC/DC - It's A Long Way To The Top LIVE On TV 1976 " Peace/JT
Angus and Ozzy, best head bangerz of all time.
My favorite is the version shot in the church. Bon is dressed like a priest and the boys are all choirboys with Angus bouncing a halo on his head!!!!😊
Guitarist Angus Young - complete teatotaler - no drugs or alcohol - ever
🎼The white man had the schmaltz, the black man had the blues 🎶. For those unfamiliar, schmaltz means overly sentimental 😊
ACDC are amazing aren't they
This. is. the. real. deal.
🎸❤ACDC❤🎸
Adrenalin is a hell of a drug.
Aussie rock at it's best.
