You said you didn’t know what your were going to do. You will get up, get back on and ride, baby ride. It is ok to miss your dad. It just shows how music, particularly country music, can bring out so many emotions. Never apologize for showing your feelings especially about your dad. Another one that could bring out emotions is Brad Paisely “When I get where I am going.” This song helped me out when my dad passed

You live til you don’t. Last breath here, next breath in heaven. I’m 75 and the dominoes are falling. Am Sharing this with my 20 year old daughter. 3 people in the world love me, she and my 6 year old granddaughter and a 42 year old daughter. Trying to hang around to toughen them up a little more. Purposely made all my girls high maintenance and don’t settle for less. Remember it’s been said that you’re alive as long as someone remembers you. Just talk to your Dad. Your view of him is likely how you view God.

Gitana, I am a dad who's in the latter part of my life, and I have to face the fact that I am not going to be around forever. I have one daughter who I love and adore more than anything. I raised her to be a strong woman and mother. I built a business that I handed over to her, and she has made me so very proud. We've had our tears and our smiles. Our fights and our hugs. But, no matter what, she is still my little girl. I still remember being scared and holding her after she took her very first breath over 44 years ago, and I have been different ever since that moment. I loved her before she ever saw the sun, and I know she'll love me long after I never will. But if there is a life after this one, as I believe there is, then I will take her love with me, just as your dad took your love with him. My daughter is my legacy. She allows me to live on beyond the years I've been allotted. You are your father's legacy and, just from what you've shared, his dream as a dad was fulfilled. That's all we want as a father. His life goes on through you. His love still fills your heart and touches all those you touch. And, as a dad of a loving daughter myself, I know he was proud of his legacy. Proud of his daughter. ❤️ Countless hugs and endless love from me to you. I do understand. 💗

Hi Gitana, it's Wilford here, I'm very sorry about your Dad, I know what your going through, I lost my Dad in 1989 and my Mom in 2016. They both died at home and I was with both of them when they died. I know it's not easy, there's alot of tears, but there's alot of great memories too. You get through it by thinking of the great memories more and get rid of the bad memories. There are small things out there that will remind you of your loved ones, like for me when I look out my window at home every once in a while I'll see red Cardinal birds sitting on my porch and look at them and smile and say hi mom and dad I see you've come to visit. Thanks for making my day. It may be something little like a little Butterfly that lands right next to you. Your Dad is always there and he will always be. Just take the time stop and look around, you'll find and he'll be there when you need him. He will always make you smile. In the meantime you have your family, Donavon and your Beautiful kids they'll bring you through this. You also have all of us, ( witch I hope I'm part of also ) We are all going to be there for you, just like you try to be there us. We are all a family. You're not the only one that cries, I cry like a baby and I'm a 56 year old man. Don't worry about crying in front of us because because we are going to be crying with you. Just like when you laugh we laugh with you, unless Donavon tells one of his bad jokes LOL. ( Just Kidding Donavon ).

I'm just discovering your reactions. I had already knew your situation from another of the reactions. You said this was the worst song at the time ... actually it was the best ... you needed to get some of those deep emotions out a bit. I lost my dad 30 years ago and was there as he took his last breath. I was the last person he saw before closing his eyes, we knew it was coming, still he had just visited with his best friend, but turned to me as John was leaving smiles through the pain. Whispered thanks ... which was for getting John there. Told him to rest, touched his shoulder, a few seconds later he took his last breath. It was brutal yet beautiful at the same time ... dad was a rest no more pain. After the emotion Donovan coming in and he was clearly emotional about your pain, and I suspect his loss with you father's passing. You two have genuine love and that is a gift. Cherish that ... sadly I know too well what losing that does to you as well. Life is about emotion the tough ones make the good ones all the more special. You deep hurt here tells us all how deeply you loved and were loved by your dad

She and my dad were making plans for what they were going to do when he retired in about five years. Time will help you heal, but only if you really give it to the Lord. The pain of your loss will not go quickly - nor should it. But you will heal! Keep thinking of the good times with him and know that he is smiling down at his little girl from heaven. I of course say that with the assumption that he was a believer. God bless you and Donovan!

I've heard this song a hundred times It has always made me a bit sad. I have lost both of my parents, but your reaction truly hit me. For an old North Georgia mountain man, I was crying with you. Keep it real Young Lady!

Whenever you get sad try to remember the happy times. Mom and Pop gave me so many happy memories. That was their gift to you. Some people don't have that be happy that you do. Spread it. Give someone a happy moment. It's contagious.

It just makes you who you are and who you are is why we all keep coming back. You could play Mary had a little lamb on a toy piano and we would still be here. It's not as much the music as it is spending time with you. Thats what family does.

I am catching up on some of your older reaction videos. You are so real and such fun to watch. You're not ditzy. You are you. Just keep being you. Never feel that you have to apologize for your emotions. I got that same call from my mama when my dad was almost gone. I feel that same emotion now. That is what country music does for us, and to us. Thank you for your reactions. And thank you both for being real with your emotions. You are helping all of us with our ups and downs. Please don't stop, we all need you, both of you.

I watched this when you posted this. Why I watched it again I'm not sure, perhaps it is because I lost my Dad three years ago today. I realize that we men are not supposed to cry. But I did, again. Just keep it real, young lady. Your reaction still touched my heart.

God bless you Gitana. The fact that you finished the song and reaction shows a crap ton of strength!! This is why I love your channel, it's always real and raw and I never know what to expect. I've been through something very similar and yet very different involving my dad so songs like this make me sad and angry at the same time...I understand the emotions. Much love!! ❤
