"That's All Right" - EP Party Jam Cover

Elvis Presley "That's All Right" late-night jam cover by Jamie Aaron Kelley (EP Party Jam - JAK Archive) www.eapsociety...
This video has, up until now, only been seen by EAP Society Members, so we'll be sharing pieces for you all - as well as various other archive videos - just as fun extras for those who might like to see them.
The first in a series of videos "from the archives," this is from Jamie's "EP Party Jam" concept. Not a "tribute" show - a late-night & intimate "from fans for fans" show of mostly request material, and basically doing anything they feel - Jamie Kelley, Brad Birkedahl, and John McClure continue this August 2010 show with their cover of one side of Elvis's very first Sun Record, 1954's "That's All Right."

So right about that opening guitar strum. Elvis’ rhythm and feeling is unorthodox, but so perfectly executed. 😊

Thank you! And very true, Frankie - much like a lot of what made Elvis's artistic instincts so special, especially in ways that so many people, but have such a cool impact on his sound (and how it hits the listener). 😁

Brilliant, Jamie! Top class! 👏👏👏👍 (love the execution of the "up stroke" on the strum, and the attention detail!).

Thanks so much, Graeme! Yeah, Elvis had such a neat way of playing, and it's a great place to expand from for a rhythm player. (the quicker "percussive" stuff I'm doing on things like "Down In The Alley" is an extension of this)

Love these posts Jamie, very Blue Moon Boys? How do you think your voice has changed over 15 years or so? This was very high, Vernon would have loved it? Cheers JnJ ❤❤

Thank you so much, Denny! As for how my voice has changed... honestly, not much, as far as vocal age and shifting. I just know a lot more about my voice, so I can be more precise with what I do. :)
