So right Julia, it’s the Home Secretary but the commissioner has to apply to have them banned. The officers on the ground cannot be blamed for what they are doing. They are doing what they have been ordered to do! Now I can see that there is a difference in how the pro Palestine marches and the St George’s day march was policed. All marches should be policed the same and officers should have clear and concise guidelines from senior leadership in the police. officers on the ground should have the backing of those senior leaders. Not be thrown under the bus like the sergeant was who spoke to the Jewish man who wanted to cross the road. The officer was concerned for his safety, if he was to cross the road . I would have let him cross the road on his own, he may or may not have been assaulted, verbally abused whatever. The police would have taken action at that point. Yes it would also of been in the news, police leave Jewish man to cross the march on his own with no protection. I bet if that had happened the initial KZread clip would not of been released.

Ask yourself why banned (that's a laugh) terror groups are openly flying their flags and calling for the completion of the Austrian painters work. Ask yourself also why these same groups are destroying humanitarian aid meant to alleviate civilian food shortages. Finally, ask yourself why an attack on a festival of mainly young people was attacked and why the equally young hostages have not been released. Then come back and tell us these aren't hate marches.

Why would the mere presence of a Jew wearing a kippah cause problems for a "peaceful" march? It is not as if he was waving an Israeli flag, spewing some anti "Palestinian" chant or wearing a "I ❤ Israel" tee-shirt.

Might I suggest, JHB, you get Stephen Kapos on your show, a holocaust survivor, who always marches in solidarity with what you term as 'hate marches', to hear his viewpoint and rather than slavishly towing the israel lobby line, listen to alternative Jewish voices who do not support the obscenity being visited upon Gaza. Israel does not speak for all Jews
