Yes, I don’t know what it is but they weren’t like this when we lived in Wisconsin and now we live near Cleveland and they’re all crap. I don’t get why certain areas have better selection.

Inflation took over the already greedy Goodwills. I shop Goodwill to buy summer play clothes ( mostly shorts ) for my 6 yr old grandson to hang around in while school is out. Last yr shorts, his size at Goodwill, were $2.79 & currently in 2024 the price jumped to $4.69??!!! Just ordered some cheap shorts from Amazon. Yep, I paid a tad more but didn’t get out in hot / horrid weather, use gas, search through used clothes that should be marked a lil’ cheaper. 🤔🤔 To each their own I guess. 😂🤣😂

It's such a shame you couldn't find saucers for those white teacups with the red detailing! I can't explain it, but they have a certain elegance to them! Just my opinion. 🥰

If you're ever planning a trip to New England or southern NH ..skip the Goodwill's. They're basically Dollar general in the front with maybe three shelves of cracked broken and chipped junk.

Try Wonder Book and Video right across the street. I just realized they have antiques, vintage and collectibles! And no, I don't work there! 1306 West Patrick St Frederick, MD 21703. I found three Artesonia Rinconada figurines this week!

That Dept 56 Soup Tureen could have been a big moneymaker - saw a sold on eBay for $150 - it had the box though. None listed currently.

That's what I thought, too! And the squat little shape of it reminded me of the bottle India Ink came in back in the day! When I did pen and ink drawings when I was younger, I used those old pens that you would put different nibs on to use, dipping them in India Ink! Dating myself, for sure! 🤣

⁠@@LindaKayHolevas thank you especially since I recently got lectured for being too critical of other commenters. 🤷‍♀️ I’m sure I am sometimes but I don’t understand the complaints and especially telling CLL she isn’t providing enough content.
