Such a melancholy song. Beautiful, but melancholy.

This peace is far more than than just notes and words on a piece of paper, this choir had yet to realize that. They have nice sound but you can only truly sing this when you understand the meaning and understand and feel the music.

+Swagbuxks MC : people forget they are only uni students....very young really. They sing beautifully. Wish my children's college could get their act together and sing like this......I would be the proud dad sitting in the front row inspirational.

Michelle Trust I agree. My highschool choir sings this at the end of every school year. Everyone holds hands and sings in a circle. It's the senior's last song together, so its really emotional.

Here's a different angle (and microphone) of the same piece: kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZKGbk8SFedbFZcY.html A choir's sound is representative of it's conductor. USM has among the finest choral singers I have ever encountered. To my ear, this is an exceptionally fine and expressive rendition, although admittedly, I may be biased. albeit professionally so. Pitch, balance, intonation, rhythm, consonants, and eye contact, are all perfect; and their expression, at least to me, is heart-melting. I deliberately did not listen to James Taylor's recording before performing this piece, so that this would be my own personal interpretation.
