I have read in the news after the Manipur incident a lady was paraded naked in West Bengal as well, but people barely talk about this issue. As a Bengali living for many decades in the UK, I understood only I word he spoke : "Maryada" meaning "Respect" (north & east Indian languages have pretty much same meaning for that word). But more importantly, I understood that 1. part of the media is corrupt, and used by politicians (same story everywhere in India and abroad) 2. Annamalai is undoubtedly a very principled and energetic young leader, and I can easily foresee him as the Tamilnadu CM, even Indian PM one day. 3. That Tamilnadu and India and BJP should be proud to have a leader like him in the midst. Bless. 🙏🏻

South caught up with a bit of development of late, but remember, three decades ago, the entire candidates from the South, esp those having no scope of reservation got their fortunes from the North. 2) Trolling is not an issue; its just a social humor. It's a problem only when we take it to heart. 3) Tilak...it's fine, but TN is known all over the world not in the name of Tilak, but many great beings like Subramanya Bharati, Ramanujam, Chola, Pandya dynasties, great works by great writers, and many like that. Northies are not as bad as you think of them. If they come to TN or the South for work (not all Northies, but from Bihar, Orissa and northern part of AP, and a substantial number from WB and Bangladesh), as I mentioned a substantial number of South Indians used worth in the North India. Once in the past there were thousands of TN labourers in Kerala's plantations, but now they are not there which is a good thing. Instead, you can see many Mallus in TN. Look, this inter-dependence is what makes us unified, where there should be no Northis, Easties, Westies, etc. The moment we become pawns at the hands of narrow-minded politicians, we start developing a kind of serfdom within us, which will make us poor personalities. Let's not do that. Migration from TN has slowed to a good extent because of a balanced development of TN. Is that enough for you to label Northies bad? If so, again if so, that's a too parochial thought. Yes, we have our own greatness as much as they have theirs. None is lower or higher in terms of their culture, heritage, traditions, contribution to the nation, etc. Tamil is a sweet and great language so much as Hindi or Sanskrit of Bangla for them. This comparison erupts from divisive thoughts. Why can't you think that we are all the sons of Bharat? We should remember that every state is unique, distinct, and great in its own way in the lap of mother India. For her, all her kids are one and the same. If we just get worked up by one's casting a troll, is that a sufficient reason to label ourselves as Northis and Southies...If you think, you should be able to get the answer. Take care; Jai Hind.

Raising a question is the right of a reporter.Answering it or not is the right of a person whom the question is asked. Yes or no depends upon the judgment for building which seeking information from a reporter is anybody's right too.

Kudos to Annamalai Sir.... I am from Karnataka and we all know about him and his administration when he served us as an upright police officer. Sadly, we lost him as he volunteered to retire and get into active politics. I wish he was in our state and served us as our leader. However, I feel Tamil nadu at last has a very able, honest and capable person who can be their leader. I hope all Tamil nadu people would elect him as their leader who would take the state to another level. I wish him all the very best and hope to see him as Tamil nadu CM shortly.

Annamalai never flays any right question, but gives appropriate answer always. TN ever had such brilliant persons, but Annamalai is unique in many respects. After all, he is an IPS, a disciplined and humble man.
