    The people that are complaining about that tool have a very valid point... it's the POINT that is the problem.. is as big as a damn knitting needle !! That looks like a home made tool and isn't at all right for the job. It's got to be jammed into the skin too even pierce it is so big and dull !! Not too mention the loop end is too small and digs in to the skin. There might not be much blood but i promise you this person's face HURT after this was done. THAT'S why people are upset.. not the gloves, the music, the cleanliness... it's that barbaric tool they are using and the fact that it's totally inappropriate for this job. Period .

Tried to get it back because she also needed it for scholarship money for college. Additionally she needed to provide the entire faculty with a copy. That girl ended up using it for college entrance. If theres was just one way of doing things then there wouldnt be medical advances, thays how stupid this type of comment sounds. So I guess they should open your entire belly for just a laparoscopy surgery because who came up with the new technique of only small incisions doesn't knows what they're doing right? • @donnacaulfield9229

    @donnacaulfield9229

    The spear is actually a Lancet used to do heel sticks on infants for blood work and the old use was for a finger stick for home glucose testing. There are new better lancets now, I've actually seen them being used on videos here. They are very small and difficult to hold on to. I would never let anyone use one of those lancets on my face. Too boot the needle on them is very short causing the tech to really dig and probe. They are cheaper than the syringe needles most techs use. You can tell when they are being used as the top of it is colored plastic. They are meant to be put in a pen especially designed for them. The pen allows the lancet to pierce the skin to obtain a drop of blood for glucose testing. Not meant to be used to poke pimples and the like. Sorry for being wordy, but education is paramount so that everyone can refuse them to be used on themselves. They hurt!!! I know because I am a Diabetic and poke myself 5 times a day. Before every meal and just before hitting the sack.

    In fairness, I highly doubt the entire procedure was as quick as this video. Dr Sandra Lee also likes to educate viewers as her videos are used by training dermatologist, plus being in America and a doctor she is likely held to different standards. Like you is not a certified doctor as far as I’m aware so is likely not allowed to use numbing, which limits how much he can do and also makes his procedures more painful so speed would help reduce the duration of the pain. Dr Lee needs to wait for the local anaesthetic to kick in, but she can cut deeper and get everything out in one go, including the sack, which takes a bit longer but prevents the chances of reoccurrences. You can’t compare a beautician to a dermatologist.

Bonus points for no nasty gloves, but the music and the tools are pretty funny as are the comments about them! Overall A+!

    It's cystic acne treatment that is bloody. These are milia. Cystic acne lesions often contain infected blood, in Eastern Medicine the infected matter is squeezed out of the lesions, hence the apparent blood letting.

    The awl that he's using leaves a large, clean hole, which makes it easy to remove the sac and its contents. I also like the way he puts pressure on the cleaned areas while he's working on another spot. That cuts down a lot on the bleeding. Even the silly music is fun. I really like this!

    The criticism about the implements is valid. The tool used is not sharp and has to be pushed in to pierce the skin. Plus, the gauge of the extractor is way too thin. It literally cuts the skin as the technician tends to lean the tool sideways.
