These blackheads were probably there for over 10 years or more. Very difficult extractions. Did a good job emptying the pores rather than the ones who leave half the blackhead inside

When you have several black heads in the same area and especially on the cheek. Try using 2 popsicle sticks or 2 tongue depressors. It gets right up under them without tearing or hurting the skin.

If this person used the proper techniques the person would not have had to go through so much pain omg..

These honeycomb blocked pores are so difficult to clear as there are multiple exits. Sometimes it is helpful to cut the surface skin between the dilated pores to fully lean out the bed and reduce trauma to surrounding tissue. The skin heals surprisingly well after. You are a very caring practitioner 💕🇬🇧

You know, I watch another channel that uses medical grade cotton swabs for squeezing. It seems so much more gentle and never seems to leave the skin super red.

Wonderful blackheads, dreadful extractions. I’m sure the poor man will be permanently scarred.

These seemed very dry. I wonder if applying a moist towelette to trouble areas for a short period could allow water to be absorbed and make them easier to come out.

Too much trauma to the skin. Presoften with warm compresses before you begin. Lightly probe reluctant pores before releasing contents. Advise patient to use a mild formula of salicylic acid daily ( any brand). This will aid in pores emptying easier.

@@yallfakewoke7473 If the face had been properly prepped there wouldn't have been a need to press that hard causing all that trauma to the skin. There will be visible bruising for days after if not weeks depending on PT's skin condition and possibly scarring from squeezing and pinching.

@@yallfakewoke7473 Actually you can tell by the look of the skin after many years of doing this .Sometimes you may need to wash it with a salicylic a few times during an extraction

I come to see the big ones and you rarely disappoint. Love when stuff just keeps spilling out with every pass and squeeze.

I encourage you to get some blades! Just a little nick in the skin will help everything release without causing scarring or bruising. I fully appreciate your thoroughness! I've done the same on myself many times, but I always regret it. Better to use less force and cause less damage. Love your videos, though!

I have seen Dr. Lee have big blackheads that got "stuck" and I never really saw her get them out before the video ended. I agree that his skin in a couple of places was really traumatized. However, I don't think all the bruising is going to cause scarring, but the pores may never go back to normal after being stretched for so long at his age. But I do wonder if working more with the pointed tool would have made the extraction easier. It is obvious these were deep, hard and difficult to get out. Loosing them up with the tool at the beginning would have made it easier, I would think.

It was so frustrating watching this video..I felt like the technician was not using the tools correctly which made the extraction difficult and further traumatizing the skin. Just my opinion.

But you have to remember that underneath is still a bunch of pores. If you scalpel, you are slicing several pores, which will cause longer healing time & ice pick type scarring.
