I have lived in the Phillipenes for a few years and YEARN to return, I have made many trips there since leaving. Watching your videos makes me soooo home sick, My wife is Filipina and my daughter half, I plan on retiring there when the time comes. I almost hate to watch your videos because they make me so miss being there, so much. I might even move to Siargao when I do eventually move there even though my wifes family is from Cebu... Great job guys keep up the good work!!!

I am so glad you have found a wonderful place for your family. I have been following your vlogs this year. And it has become part of my morning routine. I grew up in Metro Manila back in the 60's and know the culture well. Being hospitable and friendly to visitors is part of the DNA of the Filipino people. I sometimes wonder why this is so? I came up with my own theory...I think people are so hospitable because they realize that you came from so far away that the least thing we could do is to be nice and show you a good time. Give yourself credit for being nice people as well. You make it easy for us to be nice to you.

I am glad that you decided to stay in Siargao, but there are more to see outside of the island. When things come to normal and tourism opens, I hope you consider adventuring within the Philippines before anywhere else. You showed how much you love and accept the good and the bad about the Philippines, and that is why the Philippines love you, too. Thank you and take care.

Remember, even if cases of the virus go up, the odds of hospitalizations or death is low. My mother is 90,had it, little cough for a couple days,fever. Got over it quick.
