Great that you are a Bears fan above all. It also shows that you have a good head on you that you were able to see through the bias and not just follow what other people are saying about Caleb but see his own words and actions. Every time I see Caleb speak he is comfortable, happy, excited and that makes me like him even more. He doesn't seem anything like all the people that call him a bust already paint him as.

I agree!! I was definitely blinded by my love for Justin. I’ll be the first to admit I was wrong!

Some talk in the comments here about the pro game being different than college, which is true. The pro game is just harder, as they are playing against bigger, stronger, college all stars. Caleb's pocket movement and scramble ability is how he creates all that the time to throw. Can he do that in the NFL? Mahomey and Lamar did it in college AND the pros. So Caleb has a chance to do it too.

I'm happy Justin got out of there, All the best to him.

If the Bears defense continues to hold up, I think Caleb and his new receivers and running back should be good for at least 3 more wins than last year. Not sure if 10 wins is good enough to make the playoffs though. But I CAN see them winning 12. Here is how: They split their 3 division games, lose at the Texans and lose to the Rams at home, that’s 5 losses. They go on the road and beat the Cardinals, Colts, Commanders and my 49ers, who will be dealing with their Super Bowl Jinx. And at home they beat the Titans, Patriots, Panthers, Jaguars and Seadogs. That leaves them at 12-5. We will find out by January if I am crazy or not.

We weren’t doing Fields any favors keeping him here. The scheme Flus & Poles were going for did not fit his skill set. That’s been a Chicago thing my whole life. Is Williams that guy? Possibly. Is there another QB in this year’s draft that does? Maybe. The best thing that could happen to Justin at this point is to work with Russ & Tomlin.

I dont think hell be bad, but i dont think he'll be great either. A lot of the pros say that he doesnt take the layups and that all his highlights are off platform plays. Kurt Warner and Ryan Leaf both said he needs to sit for a year or two and develop, but who really knows at this point? Its funny hearing people compare Williams to the likes of Kyler Murray though because Murray was actually a solid QB for most of his career so far and if he played for the bears, he'd be the greatest franchise QB they've ever had by MILES. Frankly, if I were a bears fan, I'd cross my fingers that Williams is Murray 2.0 because it could be SOOOOO much worse, and that's coming from a packers fan too

NFL and College are not the same. If Caleb is our QB (draft has yet to happen)... He will not be playing against 18 - 20-year-olds. It's a faster game, with big-ass grown men, who have been in the league. So if Washington trades up for the #2 pick, you think Poles will not jump on that offer, if it's something he can't refuse. Plenty of teams need QB's and might be willing to trade on draft day. Just sayin...

@@BearDownMedia I appreciate the reply. My take is... How do we know the CW hype is real. Most of CW highlight videos, are against inferior teams. Caleb was not great at OU, Played decent at USC his first year yet lost to Utah, and Tulane, then last year he lost 5 games. The dude is 2-9 against ranked teams with solid defense. You hate that take, but how is he going to hold up against a defense with grown men who have been in the league for some time, when he was unable to do it in college against teams. I believe Daniels, Nix, and Maye are better QB's. Their stats show it, and their record shows it. I guess we will have to wait and see, as The Bears more than likely will take CW. Unless Washington or the Pats offer some huge historic haul. Dude has an arm, but has yet to beat a team with a solid defense. I know, I know, OU and USC had a terrible defense under Grinch. The take I hate, is starting a rookie QB, and not having anyone to sit behind and learn. It has burned multiple QB's

We don’t know is the point. You don’t know with anyone you draft all you know is he is the best QB in the draft that’s it that’s all. WITH THE LOGIC OH HE MIGHT NOT BE GOOD IN THE NFL IS SO TERRIBLE CAUSE IF THATS THE CASE DONT DRAFT ANYONE. The point is the draft is a gamble no matter what pick you’re at.

I don't get it sometimes. Do they really not know the game speeds up in the NFL? I'm not saying Caleb is trash, but college ball is a lot different from the pros. The defensive linemen in the pros are much quicker. Best of luck to him. But he is not going to be their savior, just another wasted talent.

Nah man I don’t know nothing about the league that’s why I dedicated 4 hours of editing cause I have no passion for football nor care about the bears… this is how a draft works you look at the potential. By your reasonings, we should draft no one cause college is different to tell. Everyone should get a try out in game 1 of the season right ? Cause that’s how you would tell… the draft is a gamble all we can do is analyze what we see now!

Bears fan thru and thru, right.....that said, Caleb hasn't even been drafted yet and I'm ready for his ass to be gone. That fake "I didn't see your big 6'4" ass over there in ORANGE and blue" at the pro day with Keenan Allen did it for me. F dude. Fingers crossed and half way praying Poles pulls a fast one on us and trades down with Washington - grab Jayden and one or both of these second rounders they have!

Caleb sure looks like he was looking for somebody. But I am not sold on the idea that he even saw Keenan Allen when he walked out there. Keenan had a hoody over his head and his back may have been turned to him. And the blonde girl is not Keenan's wife. So maybe Caleb did not see him until Keenan said something to him, which made him turnaround. He sure acted like he had not seen him there. These guys are friends who have hung out together before, so ignoring him makes no sense.
