We’re already seeing the little clues that Caleb and this Bears team is going to be a real problem for the rest of the league. Caleb is said to already be “light years” ahead of schedule in his rookie development. It was just said yesterday that Caleb’s obsessive mentality is showing as he’s been texting coaches at 10:00/11:00 at night asking a ton of questions about small details about certain plays, route running, blocking assignments, etc. Caleb is said to want to be a literal coach on the field. As soon as this Bears defense and Caleb & the offense start to tear other teams apart, everyone will have to face reality that the Bears are gonna own the NFC. If Caleb becomes a Pat Mahomes-like QB, then I don’t see any other NFC team slowing the Bears down. Not with these receivers and this defense.

The influx of talent has been legendary. 2 year ago we had Jaylon Johnson, Tev Jenkins and Kmet as potential pro bowl type player. now, this is our top 10 and potential pro bowlers: Caleb Williams DJ Moore Rome Odunze Keenan Allen Darnell Wright Tev Jenkins Kmet On Defense: Sweat Edmonds Jaylon Johsnon Tyreek Stevenson Any of those guys could make a pro bowl and some of them could be all pros. And i didnt even list Braxton Jones, Dexter, Gordon, Brisker, nate Davis, Swift and Kiran Amegadjie who are all high level talents as well. And the Bears have cap space and an a lot of picks next year to add to the Oline & Dline. One trade got us: Williams, Wright, Moore, Stevenson, Kicker Tory Taylor & a 2nd round pick next year.

Poles himself said you need 12-13 blue chip players to be a Super Bowl contender. I think we’re 1 year out. Carolina’s second rounder next year will be a premium

@@kjksport24 do you know when he made this comment? i could imagine a GM saying 12-13 pro bowl caliber players but "blue chip" guys are top 10 type picks and there has never been a team with that type of talent, maybe the niners, cowboys and steelers 30-50 years ago had that. modern teams have 2 or 3 HOF type guys, and about 6 pro bowl type players. they all have very very good QBs. but i agree, we are one year and a better Dline away from being an elite team. we could still beat a lot of teams with Caleb + 3 amigos if williams is the real deal

Poles tore the pace team down to nothing and not having no draft picks his first year.He turnd 4 picks into 11 picks.Poles pulled off the impossible in year 3 now.Loaded on offense and defense and people are calling for him to get fired.The man did some genius moves.And we still hold are draft capital and teams owe us carolina 2nd rd and pitt a 6th rd that can be a 4th rd if fields plays 51 percent of snaps.

People constantly trashing the offensive line may be in for a surprise this season. That is if Williams can get the ball out over the middle. Fields could not hit an open man in the middle especially if it was his second read. When he ran because he couldn't read the middle he was fine. Last year when he tried to stay in the pocket the ball never came out. The line wasn't great but a quaterback can make them look a lot worse than they are. I'm at the point of trusting Poles and I think the rest of you should as well. If Williams can get the ball out early that will change the way the defence plays. The line took heat because of Fields and now they may finally get a little redemption By the way, we still have cap space and I'm sure Poles isn't done working on this roster. I can't remember a Bears GM making this many moves without selling the entire team down the river. If they just have a mediocre season there's always next year. Only this time next year may actually mean something

@huntercerny meaningless until you have a need like defensive end and want to take a veteran for a one or two year contract. You can't trade or sign free agents or players with one year left on their contracts and expect to pay with IOUs

@nalvarado65 yeah you can. You just “restructure” other contracts. It’s happens all the time. You know how many teams supposedly are in “CAP HELL” but somehow are fine when the season rolls around. I mean the Jets for heavens sake were in cap hell and then signed Rodgers 🤔🤔🤔🤔. The cap is basically just a way for billionaires to go to their fan bases and show the fake handcuffs they made for themselves and say, “See?? There’s nothing I can do.” 😭😭😭 meanwhile other teams spend without any regard for the same handcuffs.

Everyone is calling me crazy. Last year's team should have won 10 games. The amount of games just utterly dropped in the 4th quarter stole 3 wins. And then the offense faltering at the worst possible times, and couldn't get ANYTHING done in the fourth quarter. So if Caleb Williams is as good as Poles thinks he'll be, how in the world would the Bears not win 13 games? I think they'll win a MINIMUM of 10 games if he's good. This is the best situation a QB has been in since Patrick Mahomes. Dude had Tyreek, Travis Kelce, and a solid O-line as well as Kareem Hunt in the backfield. If Caleb cooks, it's an easy North Division win.

As a bears fan, I agree. We are trending in the right direction, but not quite championship contenders. We need to be competitive in our own decision before we take on the rest of the NFL. If we win 5 games this year, and 2 are against the packers - I’ll be happy lol

The O-line is actually top 10. Justin made it look like it was bad. JF had the most time in the pocket amongst all QB’s. As long as Montez stays healthy, that d-line will be completely fine. However, if he gets hurt, we’re screwed

It happens with coaches and new players. I’ve been hearing this since Marc Trestmen came to the Bears. People need to let them play first then hype us after we see results.

The problem is you’re not talking about the offensive line. They desperately need a right guard and they need to upgrade at left tackle center may be suspicious too. Doesn’t matter how good of a quarterback you are if you’re on your back you’re not throwing the ball.

Fields pocket presence was the WORST I have ever seen from a Bears qb. The Oline was above average, and Fields was way below average. Held the ball way too long and ran into sacks too often also.

Justin fields had the longest time to throw in the entire league last year. Our line isn’t elite but theyre not bums. We brought in Kiran to compete at LT, and 2 interior lineman that started for other teams. Our right guard performed uncharacteristically bad after personal issues off field.

I find it really weird when people "express concerns" about an o-line without specifying what's wrong with it. Let's take a look at this o-line, shall we? In the 1st 23 minutes of this video alone representing only half of one game kzread.info/dash/bejne/eJ2drZRqht2vj9I.html we see at least seven separate pass rushers allowed straight through to the QB on at least five different plays. The one at 22:45 really stands out. He doesn't trip, he just rams into his own teammate running away from his own block & ramming the other guy off his to boot. How many such plays do you think Tom Brady or Aaron Rodgers could possibly have survived? Rodgers ruptured his achilles on just one such play. & _his_ o-linesman at least *tried* to slow the defenders down. Not so with the Bears. Fields has survived 2+ years of his own o-line sabotaging him. & all You The Fans could say about him was that he "held onto the ball too long because he couldn't read defenses." Shall I include footage of all those Wide-Open Receivers running great routes he didn't have, or should I remind you all that no later than week 5 of '22 Fields was ordered to not throw to certain receivers on certain plays? You know, to simplify the offense for him because he can't read defenses. They have a good roster on paper, they haven’t played a game as a team yet, so no transformation has taken place.

The coaches themselves have called it a transformation. The level of talent is totally different. We ALL KNOW they have not played a game yet, genius. We know. We know its all speculation, as far as trying to predict a winning season goes. But that does not change the fact that the team itself has upped the level of talent compared to what it was a couple years ago.

See this is the part of the year I hate the most. The kid hasn't even thrown a single pass yet and he's anointed. Does anyone besides me watch tape? Because frankly from what I've seen, I don't see "generational". In fact I've studied his and Justin Fields' college film and guess what? Justin was by far the better QB. Just pump your brakes boys. Btw the schedule gets released tomorrow and the leak is that our first two games are on the road against the 49ers and the Packers so guess what again boys. We're starting off 0-2. Same old narrative, same old Bears.

dude your just a hater, he was much better then JF in college. JF had a super team of WRs around him and couldn’t win a heisman or a National champ. In fact crumbled when it mattered the most in college. Caleb only had 1 year in college with a true WR1 in Jordan Addison and won the Heisman. This last year his best offensive weapon got drafted in the 7th round. The hate is crazy but Caleb is the much better prospect coming out. He did more with a lot less. We definitely might lose those first 2 games but that don’t mean shit. As long as he shows us moments in those first few games against those teams. I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of his haters week 1 🤷🏻‍♂️
