As competitive Stanford is, it truly has an amazing community full of great personalities and accomplishments. The med school process is so hard but so glad to see videos that remind us that we're all get through this together, all on our own pace. ❤️

When I watch this video, all I think about is how much intelligence and will power these people have. As important as mental health is, so is mental fortitude. For them to be having fun, while under the pressures of med school and even more tortuous pressures of getting into med school, let alone Stanford med school, is nothing short of amazing.

I teared up at 2:24: "That's not what really goes on. Though it might seem so to you. So please just be yourself. Wanna learn all about you. We're so impressed by the things you've done, the places you've gone. We'd be lucky to have you, 'cause you're second to none." I am interviewing at my dream medical school next week. This made me emotional because of how competitive and stressful getting into med school can be and thinking back to all the years of hard work. I'm a Stanford med student (2nd year now) and this is my class (love to see my friends in the video!) but I still almost cried watching it. NEVER EVER I thought I'd get in. This is such a lottery and ends up being so subjective [rolling my eyes here]. Keep pushing, my future Stanford (or non-Stanford) classmates! You have to trust the process and give your best shot! Wow, that’s incredible. Seriously uplifting and I appreciate your words. I don’t have the most competitive GPA but I’m trying to get my MCAT to be super good so I have a better fighting chance, and luckily I have had lots of extracurricular experiences and skills to help my case. I’m hoping I can get into a school I’ll be happy with soon. Taking MCAT next year!

I got accepted immediately into my doctors program just because I finished my education at Stanford Med. they view this school very highly and I was given a job over 283 other people just because of the school I went too

This was so sweet. I work in healthcare and it’s so easy to become jaded and forget other people’s feelings when you’re so busy taking care of others. So it’s really refreshing when you remember we all started somewhere as hopeful, bright eyed, terribly anxious students.

U guys probably work really hard and have a really good time! This seems like a really good school

i've watched this video for god knows how many times! this is just perfect. perfectly encapsulates the anxiety from college applications and the overwhelming fear of not being enough in a really well-made & cute video (plus med school seems so cool now, might just cave into my asian mom's pesterings and apply to one.. well it's probably too late now as i'm a senior but still)
