    maxx21285 honestly must churches aren't like the ones you see on TV. I'm a Christian and know many pastors that do have to work to make ends meet. Though I won't deny there are churches that are money centric and wrong for doing so, it's only a small amount. Kinda like the 1% controlling all the wealth.

  • @forshor1998

    @forshor1998

    Really it depends on the church, catholic priests make a great wage and higher ups like bishops are loaded. The churches horde priceless works of art and mountains of solid gold items (in some churches anyway) as well as the cardinals being adorned in gems. Most of these riches were donated or earned as part of the "fast track to heaven" thing the church made up centuries ago but some of the larger cathedrals have wealth stolen from muslims 1000's of years ago. Protestant churches on the other hand are fairly modest and many priests either have to do it part time and work a part-time job or struggle to rely on donations (depending on the church ofc, church of england churches pay an okay wage but the bishops don't get as much excluding the arch-bishop ofc).

  • @glring3519

    @glring3519

    That's false. In Spain a Catholic priest earns 700-900€ each month and a Bishop 1160€. Definitely less than all those Protestant telepreachers. I have met many priests and they are not wealthy at all.

    It's a joke. Honestly hardcore christians couldn't admit that being gay is not a choice exactly because it actually goes against their religious beliefs, for if a person is gay and has no choice about being gay (which is a sin if acted upon) then god created them that way only to either suffer in eternal celibacy or be sinners forever. That logic cannot be for it goes against the "free will" that is so important within Christian religion, hence the error goes to them deciding their homosexuality and it being a result of fail decisions in life.

The writers were, frankly, a bunch of hacks that wrote propaganda instead of literature and somehow didn't know the difference. I'd love to break it down for them. The writings of C. S. Lewis? Christian literature. The works of Tolkien? Christian literature. The works of Dostoevsky? Christian literature. What's the difference? Excellence. Subtlety. Exploring ideas and telling a good story rather than trying to ham-fist one's personal interpretation into things.

    The sad part is, the way the characters that aren’t religious or of other religions act in this fake movie is _barely_ hyperbole, like, put this in live action and I wouldn’t know the difference between this and a real Christian movie.

    Woke movies are the other side of the same coin. They're both cringe. When you care more about preaching to the audience than actually making a good movie, you end up alienating the people whose very minds you're supposedly trying to change. You think any atheist is going to watch Left Behind and be like, "Oh shit! I better start going to church." Or a misogynist watches Birds of Prey and be like, "Wow! Women really do deserve more respect." They just don't get it.

    @@changer_of_ways_suspense_smith I’ve never heard of birds of prey (the movie) but another example is the doctor who episode “Orphan 55”. I agree with the message of “please stop destroying the planet” but it just beats you over the head with it.

Your just being so deceived to yourself. Being a satanist is far WORSE than being a corrupted person. Just because you said something is a Christian propaganda which makes you like a fool. The truth is, your the problem. Even though, you did sell your soul to the devil. Malice, don't be a wuss man. Be a healthy person instead becoming a wicked.
