Hes picking up Shortstop good too, Craw is retiring soon so shortstop is gonna be heavy for him. Other than that, hes hitting good, making plays (even if they’re errors, hes stopping the ball and slowing down the runners from scoring or taking bases). His best feature that him and Slater are doing is stealing bases and they’ve been too fast for the tag.

@@Wolfgodmak He has been one of our good rare consistent players this year, he was great especially in the NL were the 2nd basemen are not doing so great imo.

Thairo is one of my favorite Giants. Venezuelans are ballers. I love the lore that Posey encouraged Farhan to recruit Thairo from the Yankees.

@@415javito But unlike Thairo, Dubon could play outfield as well so I don't feel he and Estrada were redundant. Dubon was just coming into his own and you could see it in his bat which always seemed to only be improving along with his entire game. He could field, run, hit, and hit for power along with being able to play highly athletic and demanding infield/outfield positions like centerfield and shortstop. He was one of those scrappy players you love to have on your team because of their versatility and ability to come through when you need them the most. He was a winning ballplayer, unlike a Bart type who was just a deflated sulking choke artist. Whenever I see all these nobodies at bat or in the infield/outfield for us, Dubon's absence is glaring. It only makes me miss him more and reinforces that trading him was a big misstep. Especially with our lack of star power. Every time he came through I would shout "Daniel-san!" at the TV because he looked like the Karate Kid Ralph Macchio to me. Dubon may not ever turn out to be a superstar. But he was a fan favorite in the making who was just traded before it could happen.

This series vs the FRAUDgers is going to be pivotal...already in 3rd place and trailing LA by 6.5. Need a sweep...not 2 of 3...ALL THREE!

Thank you, Giants, couldn't have fulfilled my request and wish any better; 3 game sweep at home over the FRAUDgers was needed and justified...NOW continue the momentum and get to 40 wins before 30 losses and maintain consistency. Go Giants!
