People often win medals for doing something incredibly courageous in the heat of the moment. Charge a machine gun nest, run into a burning building to rescue a child. Imagine then saying to that person 'Well Done, now do that another Two times'!! Which is exactly what these guys did. They really are True Hero's and all such quiet unassuming men.

I found it incredibly difficult to stay within the 1.2km restrictions when covid hit , I lost my mind and I had to get help, I am so in awe of the coach , the boys and the divers that they could withstand being confined in the dark for three weeks, I would love to hear how they managed to stay mentally strong. The divers and they awesome work they dd in dark dangerous conditions, you all are absolutely amazing people, I cant wait to see the movie, I'll never forget thos event until the day I die 🥰

I believe Dr Harris found this gentleman and one of the boys after he lost the rope. Dr Harris offered to take the boy and also lost the rope briefly in the same place

Yes, Harry describes the incident in his book. Chris Jewell had tried to get through a sump but ended up coming out into the chamber he had just come from. Richard Harris offered to take the boy out but then got into difficulty himself. He had actually put the rope under his arm and in the complicated environment he was in, he forgot where it was. Chris Jewell, Rick Stanton, John Volanthen and Jason Mallinson were the four divers who did the initial extraction before passing the boys off to other divers.

Dr Harris said his expectations of any of them surviving the anesthesia and the transfer under water was zero but the alternative was to leave them to die a slow death so in his ethical mind set he said at least they would of died asleep so to speak.now that sums up the severity of the operation but it also Answers the interview of Jason when he says we were only transporting them, the Dr had to get them out dead or alive but didn't expect any survivors and when you hear the American captain saying he expected casualties he doesn't understand either what Dr Harris was saying about the factors that could kill them during the dive.

I'm not sure what you mean that the American captain didn't understand how dangerous this was, he thought maybe they would lose half? He knew the risks but this was the only plan.

@@calpurniabruchi5742 the Australian doctor who was putting them under anesthesia expected none of them to survive check him out.he states that it has never been done before and given that the body would become hypothermic due to the anesthesia plus the full face mask would produce water via breathing he expected them all to be dead on arrival.so when they say they expect a percentage of them to die the reality was the main man Dr Harris expected them all to die.

Everyone didn't survive like they are claiming... Sure all of the kids and coach survived but a rescue diver was killed and it's a huge slap in the face to the divers family to go on tour and parade the kids and coach like some sort of heros and giving interviews all over the world.. kids lost their father and a wife lost a husband... Their actions killed someone at least have some dignity for the divers family.. they are treating it like it was the perfect outcome but it wasn't by a long shot

The first thing he said in the video, was mentioned the dead Thai diver. No one is forgetting this. You want him dead plus 13 more? Or no one to be happy they were saved? The boys are traumatized when they learned Saman died to save them. They paid their respects and won't ever forget him, nor will Thailand or the world
