Remember the Thailand Cave Rescue? [Tham Luang Cave]

What. A Day. In this video, we will be discussing the Thailand Cave Rescue at the Tham Luang Cave & venturing inside to see what it's like now after time has passed since the rescue took place. In June 2018, twelve young boys and their soccer coach entered the cave for a team-building exercise. Unfortunately, they got trapped by rising water levels and were stuck inside the cave for over two weeks.
The world came together to support the rescue mission, and after a grueling 18-day operation, the boys and their coach were finally rescued. This rescue mission was one of the most complex and dangerous in history, and it brought together an international team of divers, engineers, and medical personnel.
The Thailand Cave Rescue captured the hearts of people all over the world, and the bravery and dedication of those involved in the rescue will never be forgotten. This story is a testament to the power of teamwork, determination, and hope in the face of adversity.
We hope that this video sheds some light on the Thailand Cave Rescue and the incredible efforts that went into rescuing these young boys and their coach. Thank you for watching, and subscribe to our channel if you'd like more travel content!

Ya know, the coach got a LOT of heat internationally for taking the team that deep into the cave. But from what we'd read & heard, the team planned to go anyway & he went to be with them to make sure an adult was there. I completely share your thoughts on this. I can't imagine what would've happened had those boys not had him there. He's lightyears ahead of the level of maturity that most people reach in their lifetimes. He deserves so much praise for ensuring they made it out okay. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch our video!

An easy way to distinguish between the two is: Stalag/has a rounded sound. (gh), so just imagine water bubbling up from the floor. It's going to have a rounded top. Now, a stalagTITE has a sharp sound. An icicle hangs down and is sharp at the bottom. So, if it's hanging from above...

From what we understand locals and tourists were going to the cave before the accident since it was in the National park and a site for prayer. We spoke to several groups that had been there many times before the accident. It is a beautiful cave and there are more caves in the area to explore other than just the one. The people have done a great job for creating a memorial of the lives lost while also educating visitors about the importance of cave and diving safety. Definitely recommend going if you are in the area. Thanks for watching!

I think they never planned to go that deep into the cave, it's just that the rain must've already been at a dangerously high level by the time they wanted to go out, so they had no choice but to go DEEPER into the cave to find high ground, and after they did, they got stuck there.

They got caught out which is a simple fact. It was an annual tradition to go into the cave to welcome new members to the team. They were also celebrating one of the boys birthday. An expert on the cave was scheduled to make a solo journey into the cave a week after the boys got caught said that they were simply unlucky. No one was aware of what the weather had been doing on the other side of the mountain and it had caught them out which forced them further into the cave. They were caught in chamber three which wasn't that far in but were forced further in as the water rose.
