We should all breathe a sigh of relieve that things like this don't happen everyday. But it is the things that happen everyday that caused something like this to take place - bribery, incompetence, the turning of a blind eye, etc. They culminated into making something as big as this to occur.

Absolutely !!! There was no love there. The two are criminals and the day they have met they clicked, they had common views on life, they had common goals that needed to be fulfilled rain or no rain. SOORT SOEK SOORT INDEED/ BIRDS OF FEATHERS FLOCK TOGETHER. Some of the criminal engagements, we have heard Dr Nandipha accomplished on her own without Thabo Bester being there. But it's believed that even if they were not together physically, they could communicate and plan together a wayforward. For example when Nandipha was collecting DEAD BODIES to make INSURANCE CLAIMS, she was on her own. Meaning that : Nandipha has CRIMINAL INTERESTS and she ENGAGED HERSELF on such activities.

No! She has children. He uMkhuseli being umXhosa/mPondo/mXesibe etc he or his family cannot customarily do that! It's AGAINST THE CUSTOM. I don't know or care what the constitution says. If there was no lobola process and everything that goes with the girl being handed over to the family she is marrying into, Yes maybe you do that. @@nette2144 There is n't really such a thing as divorce when you have children. In other words individualism (me first) does n't apply. Children are almost always a priority. Whatever makes their lives easier after the fall off of a marriage is a priority. Remember back in the day even if a husband no longer wants his wife the decision was taken by the family court/komkhulu as to what happens to the assets. Sometimes he was fired in his own place & the wife would remain with the children, the "seed" was always more important. Even if the wife would be taken care off by the other family members. In this case Nandipha has children, Sekeleni & Magudumana are family for life whether they curse each other or not. Nandipha will always be UmaMtolo owayendele emathileni, she can decide to put that in paper (Sekeleni-Magudumana) or not, unless one course she marries someone else. That is why mam Winnie continued as Madikizela-Mandela even after "divorce", I don't think it was just being a brand. Even Baw'Madiba customerily had no right to claim that she stops using it. This man was out for almost a year and was only caught because of media pressure; how many others have slipped through undetected? Scary, scary, scary stuff.

Let's not create a rags to riches or hardship story for Nands. She was brought up in a good family, her father went from being a teacher to working for the department as an inspector of sorts. Good education for both her and her brother. She even did ballet in Primary. No hardship in her upbringing that we know of.
